Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Paradise, with the best Sunday Lunch view on the coast” Nestled on Galu beach, to the south of Diani, Monkey Beach House did not let us down for a great family holiday. Recently remodeled by the owners, the house has got the blend of old arab Swahili and modern comfort spot on. To be right on the beach and have nearly all the rooms with a sea view was fantastic. The house felt very safe for children and they have even built in wheelchair access for the less fortunate mobility wise.
Catching a breeze, the house felt cool and calm at all times. The interior soft furnishings had just the right amount of strong colour to accentuate rather than swamp each room.
Hussein, in charge of the kitchen, was at all times attentive to our wishes, which is becoming rare from a chef on the South Coast these days.
His most memorable meal was lightly grilled red snapper with a chilli coastal salsa verde and all the right trimmings. Washed down with cold white wine, some wit and a view second to none.
It was good to be in a house that you could either write a book and get social and have a party. Top marks.
