“Why has it taken me 70 years ?” The location is perfect , the accommodation clean , comfortable and well equipped. Unfortunate we were only there for 3 days but managed a walk to Dymchurch via the Military Canel and back along the beach ( 7 hours ) and to Folkestone ( 6 ). Well worth it . Will be back for longer next time.

“Fantastic” We were lucky enough to stay here on a long break. The cottage was immaculate and so well kitted out with everything you could need, just bring yourself. If you have mobility problems, you will have to drive to the beach. As you leave the cottage on foot, turn left for cliff walks and amazing views, turn right down the hill to the beach. On the doorstep is the Pine gardens, well worth a visit and the tearoom is fab . Wonderful location, beautiful cottage and lovely hosts, thank you Maria and Michael xx

“Lovely stay” We had a lovely stay here Pam who owns this bungalow, seems a really lovely person, although we haven’t actually met her. The bungalow was a real home away from home, so clean and comfortable and the little extra touches of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits left for us was really lovely. The park itself was very nice, the swimming pools sauna etc was great. The few staff we spoke to were very nice and helpful. The area of St. Margaret’s bay is really beautiful. I would definitely like to stay here again.

“Like a home away from home...” It is not the first time we have stayed in this house and it will probably not be the last! The house is extremely well equipped and has the perfect location right at the sea-side but close to the town center so that any shopping can easily done by foot. We usually take back-packs for grocery shopping so that we do not need to move the car. Getting a parking space can sometimes be tricky during the day because Deal is a favorite spot to spend a day at the beach...It is very convenient though, that free parking is made possible near the house at all. Being so close to the beach is a real treat for us and having a drink while watching the sea seems to be the best way to end the day - and it is just across the street, a few steps away...The house offers enough space for a family, two bathrooms and three toilets are an absolute asset if you are travelling with teenagers! The kitchen is perfect and allows for ambitious cooking which is not always the case in holiday rentals. And, of course, there is always the view you get from the living room and the upstairs, so even if the weather is not so nice you can still enjoy the sea...

“Lovely bungalow” Booked a last minute week away,place lovely and light and very clean, nice to return to and relax after a day out, lots of things to do lots of walk books and maps, we walked miles and enjoyed the scenery. “Wonderful family accommodation with exceptional hosts” A well equipped cottage with all we needed to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable stay. When we asked to extend, Maria & Robin, searched for an alternative for the three nights that had been previously booked and offered them to us. Ever tentative and welcoming, Maria, Robin, Isabella, and Oscar made us all welcome and we enjoyed sitting in the sunshine near the pool. Highly recommend - the proximity to the A21 is NOT a problem with the sounds buffered by double glazing and the tree line.

“Very comfortable, spacious, well equipped accommodation” This accommodation is well placed for access to all area's of Thanet, it is within walking distance of good pubs and restaurants. The accommodation is exceptionally well equipped and the furniture and fittings and decoration are of a very high quality. There is ample car parking space but unfortunately it is not possible to turn a car around so you have to reverse on to a busy main road. the locals must be used to this practice in this area and were very accomodating in stopping to let us out of the drive

“Beautiful Beach House with amazing views” We are a family of 3, 2 adults and a child. From the booking process to checking out was simple and straight forward. Great communication. The beach house didn’t disappoint. Was very clean, catered for all of our needs plus more. Highly recommend. Great location, beautiful views. Beds were extremely comfortable. We sat out in the garden on a few occasions. We loved going to the sea wall and watching the world go by. We really relaxed and felt at home. None of us wanted to leave. Visited Forget me not café & The Oyster Pearl during our stay. If you plan on using the washing machine and/or dishwasher whilst there, please remember to take with you washing tablets & dishwasher tablets.
