We had a great time staying in Erni1 holiday house. It is within walking distance (3minutes) to a beautiful beach and of course the lovely aegean sea. The house itself is in a very good condition, clean and comfortable. Kids had fun playing in the garden and riding bicycles. We are definitely planning to go back to Erni1 and I strongly recommend it to those, who wish to relax, enjoy the beautiful nature (all those fruit trees around) and at the same time, to be close to other centers of attraction while staying in a cozy house. … see more
Seaside holiday villa in Cesme
great place, great people

We spent 3 weeks towards the end of season with our group size ranging from 4 to 10 people at different times. The villa is very spacious, nice, well equipped, clean and has a nice view to the sea. The owner is a very nice gentleman who was very helpful and attentive even though he was fasting and it was quite hot under the sun. Upon our arrival he immediately helped us with grocery shopping and giving us information about the area. He was prompt with any issues that would arouse. He also helped with multiple transportation arrangements, as our party arrived and left at separate times. He even picked my aunt up from the airport, and took her into her house in Izmir (so he could break his fast) where he and his wife treated her like a guest of the family. They were kind enough to share their hospitality with us as well before we left at their villa nearby. The villa is well equipped and met our needs. It’s very clean and well maintained. We got partial view of the sea over looking a grass playing ground from the balconies. Walking to the beach was a breeze. The water was often nice and warm to swim, though we had few days of gusty winds that prevented us from going to the water. The beach is not as wide and long as I had hoped for, but it was good enough. The view is very very nice, you can see few islands from the beach. The air is very clean and refreshing despite the warm weather. There is often a nice breeze in the air. Not only me, but also my elderly parents got rejuvenated with the quality of the air, the scenery, the calm atmosphere, local’s hospitality, and also fresh fish, vegetables and fruits. The people in this region are very friendly, nice and helpful. There is a small shop walking distance, which you can get water and your basic needs like bread. You can even place orders with them to bring the stuff you need. Best of all they deliver heavy items as well such as water or charcoal for BBQ (there is outdoor grills that we used few times, do not hesitate to buy fresh fish and grill and have it with fresh lemon and vegetables you can get from weekly farmers market). The village is not far and can be reached with minibus, which runs often, and there is also a big supermarket, Migros, a little farther away. Having a car is not necessary, but it would help a lot with sight seeing and shopping (the minibuses are not always on time and if you are planning to visit Alacati, Ilica, Cesme or Izmir would take less time as they stop by several places). I definitely recommend this place, it’s nice, calm, clean and next to the beach, and the owner is very friendly and attentive. … see more

a wonderfully relaxing , stress free holiday

my boyfriend and I stayed here in June 2012, along with 2 friends. We booked directly with the owners Lisa and Derek , as I have had bad experiences booking through internet companies. Speaking with Lisa through email put me at ease, and she also very nicely offered to book our airport transfers for us which took another bit of pressure off. On arrival we received a nice little welcome pack and were greeted by the extremely friendly staff. the apartment was well equipped with all mod cons , and the air conditioning was greatly appreciated in the beautiful warm weather, especially at night. the view from the balcony was beautiful, overlooking the gorgeous pool, and also had our own sunbeds where we could catch ourselves a lovely tan as the sun shone directly on us for most of the day. We had a few meals in the restaurant onsite which were lovely, and also had drinks in the bar. Again, the staff were lovely and everything was reasonably priced. On the few nights when we were looking for a bit of a clubbing night we travelled for not even 10 minutes, to the centre of altinkum to the openair nightclub which was great , though it was lovely to leave that when we'd had enough to get back to our beautiful little home from home. Venus Bay Villa
Spacious family villa in super convenient location with fabulous view & sunsets

My 3 daughters, elder sister and I spent a lovely week in this splendid, spacious & well equipped, traditional style family villa situated in a lovely quiet location in the Venus Bay area on the outskirts of Ilica, with beautiful views over the sea and with truly fantastic sunsets every evening. We could not believe the incredible view from the villa on our first morning of our stay, it was awesome! The villa is ideally located in a quiet neighbourhood, but is close to a couple of local grocery stores as well as a Migros supermarket further down the road. The nearest beach in Venus Bay is only a few minutes walk away, and the fantastic sandy beach at Ilica and the amazing old town of Alacati with it's many boutiques and restaurants are both only a few minutes drive away. There are also 2 waterparks in the area, and we could definitely recommend the Oasis waterpark, literally just maybe 10 minutes or so drive away. The English owners Barbara and John were great with providing very helpful advice and were quick to respond, and the information pack provided at the villa gave helpful advice and also good suggestions as to things to do & best places to eat out. By the end of the week we really felt at home and were sad we had to leave, but we'd definitely love to come back to stay again! … see more
