“Immaculate cottage in ideal coastal location” We have greatly enjoyed our stays at Buddle place, and have just rebooked for the third time. The cottage is in a beautiful location, very quiet and close to the coastal walks around St Catherines Lighthouse. We enjoy the beaching and fossil hunting along the south west coast and then evening walks from the cottage around the lighthouse. We've not seen the red squirrels, that are supposed to be in the nearby woods, but were delighted one dusk when a badger, large as life, casually strolled through the garden. The cottage is immaculate and serenely furnished. Beds are comfortable, a fine pub is around the corner, and good supermarket and butcher close in Niton. The living room is spacious and light and the attractive kitchen opens onto a delightful south facing garden, which has space enough for our young children to amuse themselves while providing a glimpse of the sea.
“Great place to stay” We stayed at this place from 3rd to 6th May 2013 and let me tell you, this is one of the best places we ever stayed. Very nice house with most of the amenities one can look for, nice kitchen and living area with great backyard for bbq. Beach is just 2 mins walk.
We would certainly recommend this place to anyone and would love to stay here again.
“Great location, great views” First visit to the Isle of Wight and won't be our last. We chose old town court because it was something different from our usual holiday accommodation. Great townhouse in the centre of Cowes with parking off road, something of a luxury considering its location in the heart of Cowes. Superb views from all 4 levels and all the amenities of home. A stones throw from many bars, pubs and restaurants and "corries cabin" the best chippy in cowes,a great hit with our 3 children.
“Fabulous stay at the Brew House” My wife and I had a lovely week staying at the Brew House, which is a great property offering good accommodation for couples and small families. Everything was clean and tidy, it was comfortable and spacious and the welcome hamper was a delight! Homemade cake, jam and marmalade, milk in the fridge and a bottle of fizz to greet you certainly gets the holiday off to a good start. The owners in the adjacent farmhouse were very welcoming, keen to help out if needed but never intrusive during our stay. If you have read about the recent flooding event at the property, do not be concerned - everything has been fully refurbished and an extensive drainage system installed in the grounds to prevent a repeat event. The Pointers Inn (five minute drive) serves good food and are very friendly (though busy, so do book ahead) and there are lots of places of interest to visit. We enjoyed Ventnor Botanic Gardens, Brading Roman Villa, Mottistone Manor Garden, The Needles Batteries and of course Osborne House, to name a few. Would definitely recommend to others.

“Holiday at THE RETREAT - SHANKLIN, Isle of Wight.” We stayed at "The RETREAT" on 1st Weekend in October, my Wife - Julie and i drove over a very Warm & sunny day aftter catching the Red Funnell Ferry from Southampton.
It was 27'C that day more like the South of France in October than Jolly Old England.
We went in our BMW Z4 with the Roof down and it was fantastic.
The House was easy to find and is superbly equipped with 4 Good Sized Bedrooms ALL En Suite.
There is a greaty Kitchen Diner Open Plan & a Fantastic Patio area outside, the House is only a Few Months Old but has been completed to a very High Standard with Wooden Floors throughout.
We had a great time at the House, ideal for Families.!
I think that you DO need a Car - that said there is a Bus Service, although we did Not use it.
We stayed for Five Days and enjoyed every day.
Great place to stay.
