“clean, comfortable, well equipped cottage” Excellent location for the town, beach, leisure centre, the cottage was well equipped and comfortable, we recommend the cliff walk and ice-cream lunch at Sundaes (has to be done), the beaches are perfect and when the weather isn't great there is the leisure centre and arcades. We also travelled further afield around Kerry and Clare, very easy to get to. We will be back! Thank you!

“Ideal house for Lahinch” Our group of 5 spent 3 nights at Klondell House in May 2014. Location is ideal with golf course across the street and 'downtown' Lahinch less than 10 minutes walk. House is well-equipped, clean and spacious. The only issue for our group was the lack of wifi. Highly recommended.

“Perfect holiday let” My cousin & I booked 24a for 4 nights as we were attending a family wedding in the area and we couldn't have made a better choice! The house itself is wonderful, very comfortable and homely with everything you need, including some much welcomed provisions of bread, milk, tea, coffee, cheese, ham and biscuits. The location is ideal, next to train station and 10/15 minute walk to the harbour with all its great pubs and restaurants. The host Mary is an absolute delight, very helpful and welcoming and a font of local knowledge. We could not recommend this place more highly.

“Fantastic accomodation and Beautiful Views” This peaceful quite location was so relaxing, serene and beautiful. The house was more than we ever expected. The decor, and fine detail to everything was like being home away from home. The house was warm, cozy, had all the ammenties we needed, and was spotlessly clean. Barry was so kind and friendly making us feel at home immediately. Any questions or concerns that we had, he was responsive immediately and catered to our every needs. We would fully recommend this vacation rental for couples and/or families. Great location, close to the town of Ramelton, plus a short drive to Letterkenny, close to all highways if you had any other sigtseeing to do in other countys. We would absolutely love to stay in the house again and would be very disappointed for our next vacation if the house was not available.

“Just Perfect!” Everything about this house was just perfect: the location (in the middle of everything, but still quiet) and size (2 bedrooms, 2 baths) was just as advertised , and still very cozy. We didn't cook much, but the kitchen was nice-sized and fully equipped, and the living room was just large enough with very comfy furniture to relax in after a long day of touring. Both rooms also have great wood-burning stoves. We did not get to meet Kathleen, but Steve met us at the house (and he even saved a parking spot for us!) and gave us a great tour of he house as well as something good info on local pubs, etc. In summary, we can't recommend this property well enough!

“Central, quiet, clean and all mod cons” Nice place, with everything you would need. Walk to the beach in 2 minutes, the pub and the town. Owner is very nice and really takes care to make sure you have everything you need. Would stay there again, if heading to surf and general r and r!

“Home sweet home” We felt like Lugdine was more like a home than a holiday rental. Carpeting in the living room, hallway and master bedroom which was nice on the tootsies. Light and airy inside; a nice fireplace to burn turf in; comfortable furniture in the living room; nice tables outside to enjoy the countryside.....it was wonderful. We aren't rookies at renting holiday houses and this one was 10 out of 10 for us. One pays for electrical usage and the oil for the heating (if you need it). We turned on the heating just to get the chill off and then we were fine with using the portable heaters IF we needed to. Wi-fi is pay as you go and if staying longer than a week, we would recommend going for the month rate just to be on the same side. There was never a problem with the wi-fi. Sean, the owner, was such a wonderful host and person. Made sure we knew about all the necessary points regarding the electrical, heating, wi-fi, and if we had enough wood and turf for our use. One can tell Lugdine is a labor of love for Sean and rightly so. Kitchen is stocked well with pans, plates, glasses and utensils. There is a dishwasher and clothes washer for use. There is a clothesline for hanging freshly washed clothes and a drying rack too. One unbelievable bonus for us was the Irish deer stag who showed up in the yard twice in the two weeks we were there. Cannot recommend Lugdine enough.

“Wonderful scenery, lovely house - great location, bright, clean and well-equipped.” The scenery in this part of Donegal is breath-taking. The house is ideally located on the edge of the village of Dunfanaghy, two minutes walk from the golf course. Horse-riding, surfing, kayaking and other water sports are all available. The house is lovely – bright, beautifully decorated and really well-equipped. The beach is at the end of the small cul-de sac of 5 houses. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely book this house again.

“Great house and hospitality for awesome vacation!!” We stayed for a week in late February and had a fantastic time in Ireland. This house is the perfect location for touring the Irish countryside, Ring of Kerry, and Dingle Peninsula. We also visited the Cliffs of Moher, Blarney Castle, and several other locations in the area. The home was well equipped with full kitchen, beds, and linens. It was like coming home after a day of touring. Our rental lady greeted us with treats and was a pleasure to talk to and helped with things like grocery stores in the local area. Our kids loved looking out the windows at the sheep and ocean. It was a really pretty setting and would definitely stay again.
