“Comfy cottage, brilliant location” Stayed in Chancery cottage with my parents and dog for 4 nights,we found the cottage comfortable and quirky and in a fab location in Hay with everything within a few minutes walk and with the benefit of private parking which was very useful,the cottage was clean and well equipped and the shower was fabulous, very powerful! The only minor niggle was that the garden furniture was very uncomfortable and could do with being updated to something a bit more modern but that's us just being fussy.....we loved the cottage an Hay and will definitely be going back!! Thank you Sue for a wonderful break.

“Amazing New Years Getaway” We had an amazing relaxing break in a lovely house in a beautiful setting. The property is well thought out with everything you could hope for provided you with an incredible hot tub added as a bonus. The owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly and couldn't be more helpful. We definitely hope to return.

“An elegant, spacious, any season town/country retreat.” I stayed in this property with a couple of friends in early February as we were in Hay for a celebration. When we arrived on a typically cold, overcast day we found the house immediately warm and comfortable with light and spacious accommodation which has been creatively arranged with the sitting room on the first floor where sliding glass doors open onto a decking area overlooking the River Wye. I particularly appreciated the artistic decor and elegant furnishings which gave it the feel more of a tasteful and welcoming home than a holiday let. I would be happy to stay here whatever the season. If the weather is dreary it's only a step or two to the centre of Hay with its great range of shops from clothes, crafts, antiques, food to the famous bookshops where you can browse away a wet afternoon. We also found a good variety of eating places and pubs. I'm determined to try it in Summer so that I can explore the beautiful Herefordshire/Welsh countryside and lounge on that terrace overlooking the river. We were aware that the site to the front was still being developed but once inside the house we weren't aware of this at all especially as the daytime accommodation has such a beautifully peaceful aspect to the rear of the building. Oh, and the service was excellent too, friendly but unobtrusive.
