“We had a fabulous holiday in this property in what is a beautifu” We had a lovely holiday staying at this luxurious chalet. It was only a short walk to the centre of the town but wonderfully quiet. We were very impressed with the high specification of the property including bathrooms, comfortable bedrooms, high spec kitchen and the furnishings. It was above our expectations. There were 7 adults and a baby and we had lots of room. The town of abondance is quite beautiful with it's abbey, rivers and quaint bridges. A lovely summer holiday destination. The shopkeepers were helpful and welcoming. Wonderful foods and wine available. The bakers, butchers and a supermarket made it easy to get everything we needed. There were places to eat out if you wanted to. It is great walking country around here. Within a short car or bus ride we were at the chairlifts and higher mountains. Thonon Les Bains and Evian are a bus ride away with shops, lakeside walks and lovely restaurants. We did not catch the ferry to Lausanne but will do it at another visit. We took advantage of the Magic Transfers from Geneva airport. It was easy to book and worked really well. Door to door service. Our flight was a little late in but they were waiting for us. We had a great holiday.
