Thank you for your kind review. As this is a new rental property, when we get feedback like this, it makes all our hard work worth while. We are so pleased you loved the apartment and its location and yes the views are truly breathtaking. Whilst we do recommend a car, as you found out it is also easy to get about using public transport links, although they run a limited service from Guzzano. The markets are great and Castelnuovo is one of our favourites, every Thursday and only 30 minutes drive away. We would like to say a big thank you for recommending us to your friends. If you ever decide to visit us again, we would love to have you stay. kind regards and many thanks.

Thank you so much for your review, it was a joy having you stay at our property. As you said in your review Il Fienile is a great holiday rental as staying here allows you to strike the balance between sightseeing and complete relaxation. Clients like yourselves seem to like the fact they can see the famous Tuscan sights such as the leaning tower of Pisa, Lucca and Florence. Coming back in the evening they can then relax in the gardens and enjoy the views, along with the relaxing country way of life. Thanks again and take care Joanna and family

first of all I would like to point out that the house where you stayed at is NOT the house you reviewed here but a house nearby which, although belonging to our group of properties, differs much in size and price. The noisy motorcyclists you described were actually our German guests staying at another of our properties. I did not notice they were so loud (and we slept nearby) but if I only had an idea of this problem I could have at least told them to park their motorbikes somewhere else. The puppy you mentioned is not leaving permanently outside, however I did tell our neighbours about the problem, and as I did not hear from you during your 4 days stay, I thought things were going better. The house where you stayed at is a nice cottage for two which overlooks a small idyllic square together with other four houses, three of which belonging to us. Most of the time there is not even my neighbours' car parked in the square (as the country road leading to it is fortunately too narrow for most of the cars). I can not ask them to stop closing car doors and starting the engine when they leave in the morning. As for our neighbours building the pool, it is weird how you managed to hear them digging on Saturday all day, as just on Saturday you left. However, I am sorry if they ruined you last day at our place. In about 10 years of activity I never had such unfavourable reviews from my guests which exclusively refer to our surroundings. We always do our best to please all our guests, even welcoming them after midnight and carrying their luggage for free as it happened with you (although we are not supposed to). Ours are self-catering “village houses”. The fact that there are neighbours here may be an advantage for some and for some others not. An isolated house is always a good option... Regards.
