“Relaxation? Si!” We have rented here on two occasions, at different times of the year. We like the spectacular location of this house, overlooking as it does the marvelous hills of Guanacaste and the Pacific Ocean below. Casa Fiesta offers the size and all modern conveniences that a large family or a group of many couples that one could hope for, while allowing many outdoor patio and poolside locations to 'chill'. Speaking of the pool, you may never want to leave for the beach with the gorgeous infinity pool that gives the sensation of swimming among the clouds. Be aware that the secret of this house is getting out. We have found it advantageous to book well in advance, especially during the 'high' season.

“Top Shelf” From the moment I entered the complex I knew I was in a special place. I was awe struck and speachless - hardly an easy accomplishment for me. Remain in the luxuriously appointed condo with spectacular views from every room, or do as I did, play golf and see how much wildlife you can spot, swim in the infinity pool outside your door or enjoy the beach club pools and black sand beach. My five day golf vacation and stay at Condo Vista Hermosa was the highlight of 2012.

“Fantastic Vacation Home” Casa Las Brisas is a wonderful home that provides a great home base for a fantastic vacation experience. The home includes a combination of comfort, convenience, security and romance. Although the home is large enough to accommodate guests in four bedrooms it is ideal for two couples, even if there are several kids. The two master suites provide space and privacy. The upper suite is particularly nice because of the privacy, great views and open wet bar. The sunsets are beautiful, but a thunder storm provided an incredible lightning show out over the bay that was one of the highlights of the trip. The drive from the airport is a little long but the destination is well worth it. The drive also provides some interesting views of the countryside and some small villages. One you arrive at Casa Las Brisas you can settle in by the pool or easily visit a variety of local sights. We went to several beaches, swam, surfed, rode horses, zip-lined (twice), went river-tubing, sightseeing, shopping and on and on. We made most of the arrangements for the activities just done the hill form the house. We also walked to restaurants, bars and for groceries, plus there were other restaurants and grocery stores within easy driving distance. All in all Flamingo Beach, and Costa Rica is a great place to visit and Casa Las Brisas is a perfect place to stay. We look forward to going back.

“Mara-a-Villa is Pure Luxury!!!” The Mara-a-Villa was simply spectacular! It was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The view was unparalleled as well. We were a party of eleven and there was more than enough room for everyone. The rooms were beautifully decorated and matched that of a five star resort. There was nothing more relaxing than coming "home" after a day of adventure and relaxing out by that incredible infinity pool. Star Villas provided the Mara-a-Villa with the best staff. Robyn was just wonderful to work with. She organized our entire trip for us. We could not have done it without her. I truly appreciate how she answered my numerous questions with genuine kindness and alleviated all of our traveling concerns. Adriana, who lives on property, was an excellent concierge. She went above and beyond in attending to our needs and requests. Blair was a great driver and a very fun companion. Housekeeping, which remained in house for hours, kept the 8,000 square feet of living area in tip, top shape. The catering service from Rocio's Kitchen was also outstanding. The meals were delicious and the ladies serving the meals were a delight. Regarding activities, the sailboat and snorkeling trip on The Seabird was so much fun. Sebastian and his crew were excellent hosts and kept us entertained for hours. I highly recommend it for others. The zip lining and water tubing trip to Guachipelin was a blast. We all had a great time! The fishing excursion on the Brindisi was also a great adventure. We caught several sailfish and a few other fish and it will remain a memorable fishing trip. Overall, this vacation experience actually exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have asked for a more professional, conscientious, and quality service. We will not hesitate to book again with Star Villas and once again stay at Mara-a-Villa when we return to Costa Rica. Pura Vida!

“Fantastic Place!” I am writing about arenal Springs Villas by the Lake. Tom & Maria, who run the place, were so friendly & helpful we feel we have new friends. wwee arrived late but Maria brought us food so that the next morning we could have a civilized start. They gave us maps, advice on restaurants, & Tom drove us around to show us homes (the purpose of our trip). They live on site & always there for anything needed. The villas were exactly as advertised. This is a gated, secure estate on a terraced mountain side, fully staffed with grounds staff & maids. We stayed at Casa Grande, which is complete with luxurious furniture & a romantic hot tub with a great view. There is an outdoor Ranchero with BBQ & wood burning fireplace. It is big enough for 3 or 4 couples. The kitchen is fantastic, but if you wany Tom has contacts with a chef who can cook for you. The setting was very serene with Toucans and monkeys in the trees & the exquisite sound of silence at night. All the other villas were well equipped & had great views. Families have rented the entire estate for weddings & other occasions & it is a perfect venue. The time we spent at arenal Springs Villas by The Lake was memorable. Our goal was to relax, but mostly to prospect for a retirement home. The site is located with not too distant drives to surrounding areas including San Jose, Liberia & the Pacific Coast beaches. The area is full of surprises with many fine homes & gated estates with excellent homes at reasonable prices. There is even a Yatch Club nearby. You might want to rent a car, but there is transportation & many rewards with visits to local small towns, La Fortuna, the arenal Volcano, Monteverde National Park, etc. We will be returning soon to finalize our home search & I can think of no finer place to stay. This is definitely 5 Star!

“Moorish Escape” The Cerca del Mar lived up to our expectations and it was delightful to have our own pool to cool off in. Due to the courtyards off every roon, it felt very private and not like a townhouse. It was a longer walk to town via the beach than by the road, but great to go about 5:30pm and watch the sunset while walking to town for dinner. The gas BBQ was a nice option for dining in. We looked at some of the other condo's in Langosta and felt we had made the best choice.
