“Quiet retreat, helpful host, fantastic city” I was lucky enough to spend 17 days at the Casa Dickinson in October of 2008. I traveled to Guadalajara for plastic surgery and found this guest house to be the perfect place to relax and recuperate. James, my host, was so considerate of my needs - taking me to the clinic and follow up appointments, sharing his lovely home so graciously, making sure I felt pampered at all times. The guest services and luxurious amenities are comparable to the best hotels, yet the ambiance is casual enough so that you immediately feel at home. The neighborhood is perfect for a quiet getaway. There is a beautiful rose garden with a walking path at the end of the block where I exercised daily. The nearby supermarket is within walking distance, so very convenient. This was my first trip to Guadalajara, I definitely have plans to return, and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.
