“Loved it!” Just come back from a long weekend stay in the Squirrel! The lodge itself is luxurious with all its modern finishings. It has underfloor heating which meant even in oct/nov weather it was always lovely and warm. The hot tub was perfect to relax in at the end of an activity packed day! The lodge is right next to some forest trails , and close to lots of activities within a few mins drive (clearwell caves, puzzlewood etc). All of the extra details really made the weekend special. I can't wait to book again!

“A brilliant stay” Amazing and relaxing place to stay. Great welcome and accommodating owners throughout stay. Very child friendly. Cottage very clean and comfortable, suited our needs exactly. Wonderful views. Lots of freedom for the children who enjoyed seeing all the animals on the farm - pigs, horses, dogs, chicken and ducks. Great hot tub to enjoy after cycling and walking. Cottage centrally based for all the attractions in the Forest of Dean. Would highly recommend.

“Absolutely amazing” We throughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous lodge. From great communication from the hosts before our stay, to arriving to a gorgeous, clean, cosy lodge in amazing settings our stay was Perfect. Lodge is in a great location with lots of local attractions near by including a walk in the forest on the doorstep. All linen and towels included and bedrooms and bathroom are very comfortable and just like a home from home. Myself, my partner our two year old daughter and our friends have already said we want to book straight up again for another trip next year

“Family Christmas Break” We were a family of three generations and all had a wonderful stay at Mireystock. The house was very well equipped and we had no problems at all in cooking a full Christmas dinner. The provision of slip on shoes to travel backwards and forwards to the annex, together with bath robes, slippers and pool towels was a thoughtful touch. We enjoyed spending time in the bar and playing on the full sized snooker table. We also enjoyed walks from the house and were fortunate enough to spot a wild boar in the forest. The house was spotlessly clean and cosy and Lucy was very helpful, both prior, during and after our break. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mireystock, we had a lovely time, thank you.

“Bliss at Badger's End” Another lovely stay at Badger's End Cottage, nothing is too much trouble for the owners who are extremely accommodating. The cottage is beautifully kept and in a great location for exploring the Forest of Dean and surrounding area. We will be back for our third stay.

“Excellent house, excellent location” Beautiful Georgian house, very comfortable, clean, well equipped and as we stayed over Christmas the house was seasonally decorated, complete with a Christmas tree. Not only that but the owner, Andrew, left a welcome pack of wine, mince pies, marmalade and chocolates. If that wasn’t enough, he was at the house with a lovely and much appreciated hot drink on our arrival too! A home from home. The house is in the market place of a small town but has enough amenities to cater for all needs. We hope to return at some point. Many thanks go to Andrew.

“fabulous family get together” The vicarage was a perfect place for our family post lockdown get together. The stables kitchen/ social area was very well equipped with everything we needed- it was so lovely to be able to all sit round the table at last ( there was 10 of us plus a baby and dog!). The vicarage itself was so beautiful with spacious accommodation for us all. We loved the cider talk and ploughman's lunch- Nick and May are certainly super hosts as they were so attentive and friendly yet discrete. I would recommend without hesitation the vicarage and stables.

“Super relaxing and extremely pretty” My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time away for his birthday weekend. The cottage is really nicely done, we loved the bed area and the balcony and the spa bath is a real treat after a long day. The hosts were wonderful, we ordered dinner for when we got there which was delicious and they provided us with lots of information about nice pubs and places to visit. We will be returning!

“Beautiful cottage, great location!” I stayed at the cottage for a weekend with a group of friends for a wedding and it was perfect! Beautifully decorated, comfortable, with everything we needed. Lovely location with a great pub a few minutes walk away. Great price too, would definitely recommend. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

“Perfect Woodland Lodge!” The woodland lodge was absolutely lovely, with all home comforts available at the accommodation. The lodge was tastefully set up, and attention was paid to all the features, even down to the smallest item. The ‘woodland’ theme was carried out through the lodge. Accommodation was very clean and welcoming. Ideal for an autumn cosy night in, with fleece blankets available – even a hot water bottle was provided! (although this wasn’t used during our stay since we found that the lodge was nice and warm). Comfortable beds, plenty of space for everyone, and the lounge TV was huge!! Lovely settings and the park itself was quiet and private. A security gate on the main entrance to the site provided an extremely secure site, and access was only through a coded electronic gate access. Few other lodges on site - about 10 units in total located at present. Plenty of area around the lodge for children to play, or for adults to sit out enjoying a glass of wine! Must say a big thank you to the owners for a wonderful stay ☺
