“Way more than expected!!” This was our 2nd visit, having stayed there for a long weekend in October 2012. This visit was 10 days and was the perfect vacation to celebrate our birthdays and my retirement. There were the 2 of us and our dog. My wife is handicapped and she had no problems functioning in the cottage with her walker. Joe called and let us know that he would probably be away when we arrived but to go in and make ourselves at home. Everything was perfect and we quickly settled in. This is the ideal location for visiting the wineries (I counted 23 between the cottage and Watkins Glen), the outlet mall, restaurants in Geneva, or just enjoying the views of the lake from the cottage. Go fishing with Joe, it was a great time! Also, this area is mostly permanent residents so it is like a quiet residential neighborhood, that just happens to be right on the water. Joe was always available if needed but he was not intrusive. He takes meticulous care of the property and the landscaping is beautiful.
