“Perfect for a relaxing holiday in wonderful surroundings” From initial contact with the owner, through to booking and resolving a minor maintenance issue, everything was just great.
The studio flat is fairly small, and the compact shower is just big enough, but for the price and location this apartment just can't be bettered. We didn't do a lot of cooking (with so many good restaurants and cafes nearby why would we?) but the kitchen is well equipped.
And the view from the apartment is amazing. Where else can you wake up and see such a view from the comfortable bed?
We will definitely try to stay here again in the near future.
We came for the second time this year to this marvellous place, this time again for 10 nights. The view from the balcony over the bay with hundreds of sailing boats is wonderful and romantic, and as w… More
“Well and truly Buqafied! Great location + great accommodation = great holiday” Team Buqa work hard to make your stay at Apartment Buqa special - and it pays off. Comfortable, homely, well equipped (really well equipped from the tech to the kitchen to the games/books to the furnishings, etc!), and all within a stones throw of the centre of Samoens. We can see why they chose this place as their holiday home, and are grateful they have shared it with us - everyone should go on holiday to Buqa!
Our family had a fantastic time at Apartment Buqa at the end of January. There was ample room for the 5 of us, in fact we could easily have taken a few more.
The apartment is very, very well equipp… More

Jim, thanks for the comments. The snow was late this year, the snow gods were still snoozing. Luckily they woke up and made up in time for Christmas.
Thanks for the great review and happy to see you're Buqafied!
All the best for 2015 and beyond!
“A love letter to Villa Edith” Villa Edith,
I must admit I was sceptical as to how you would accomodate a group of 12 young professionals. How dare I? You stole my heart from the moment I saw your large, renovated frame. The simple drive from Bordeaux was instantly forgotten when we reached you. Your rustic yet modern delight, the acres of peaceful vineyards surrounding you like sea to a desert island.
Edith, they say it's the inside that counts and I truly believe that. When I entered your doors I wandered around for many moments, wide-eyed and excited. How have I found myself somewhere so beautiful inside and out, so comforting, so reasonably priced? After visiting all of your bedrooms I went into your kitchen – a tremendously welcoming place. Little did I know my laziness meant I would be spending a small amount of time here.
All of this splendidness would have been enough for me Edith. You had me at chateaux. But then I was passed a refreshing beverage and pointed towards your garden. The sun was shining, giving your pool the mirage-like appearance of molten emeralds. I took a seat next to it and leaned back. To my surprise the seat flew back and I spilt my beverage. Don't worry dear Edith, I'll forgive you. After a moment of practice I was a master recliner. From the seat at the edge of the pool, I took it all in, soaked it all up and wished I had my sunglasses. You are so much more than I thought you would be.
After one of the best weeks of my life I found myself doing the same thing, sitting poolside but this time with sufficient eye protection. I was even more in love with you. Edith you are as close to perfection as a villa could be and I hope to see you again one day. I don't know how I will find anything else like you.
“Great Apartment” Conor's apartment was exactly as described. Close to shops & transport (& Avall beach).
We arrived in the evening to a generous welcome basket & a bright, fresh apartment. As the weather was rather changeable for most of our stay, we spent a little more time in the apartment than we normally would. So the spacious layout came into its own. However we did manage quite a few breakfasts on the sunny balcony.
We hope to return in the not-too-distant future.

“The house is beautiful, well situated and equipped with all you need.” We stayed two weeks and had a wonderful time. The house is lovely and contains all you need for a perfect holiday. It is clean, well furnished and has all you require to cook at home together with wide screen TV if you want a quiet evening in. The house is in a quiet secure area but within easy walking distance of the town centre. There is a very tempting swimming pool which we were too early in the year to use (opens 1st May). You are within easy distance of St Tropez, across the bay, which you can reach either by car or ferry (ferry is ideal as it adds to the charm of the trip). Port Grimaud and the village of Grimaud are well worth a visit and only a very short drive - about 15/20 minutes. We also went to Monaco, which was stunning, but it took quite some time to get there. The Palace is well worth a visit. Ste Maxime is a lovely town with restaurants on the front and quaint little shops all along the back streets. The Friday market is well worth a wander round. There is a large marina with some scrumptious boats. Plus, of course, there are the beaches. Would definitely go back.
