“Quiet life in the village” We had a wonderful time staying in Stigny. It served as the perfect home base for excursions into the area. We loved the village and especially enjoyed hiking in the surrounding countryside. During our stay we were able to enjoy sitting around the fire in the evenings (a special bonus for a family from Florida) and eat out in the garden. Our host Karen was so attentive. She greeted us when we arrived and then helped us with advice and sightseeing ideas. The cottage has all sorts of character: stone walls, some low ceilings, and a great old kitchen sink. If you're looking for the Ritz, this is not for you. But if you're looking for a charming cottage in a peaceful town, I recommend La Poterne.
We had a wonderful stay here, almost a week of exploring Burgundian countryside and villages. Went for small walks around the village and off every day in our rental car to explore the larger cities,… More

“Unbelievable family holiday experience!” We stayed with our two toddlers in casa carlotta and had an incredible week in the this beautiful and charming apartment. Everything was at our doorstep from restaurants, beach, train, bakery, supermarket... To name a few ! It was an unforgettable family holiday and we will definitely be back! Thanks Donna for your hospitality... We couldn't have asked for a more perfect time, so convenient and comfortable to enjoy as adults with small children. What a little gem ❤️
“The house is beautiful, well situated and equipped with all you need.” We stayed two weeks and had a wonderful time. The house is lovely and contains all you need for a perfect holiday. It is clean, well furnished and has all you require to cook at home together with wide screen TV if you want a quiet evening in. The house is in a quiet secure area but within easy walking distance of the town centre. There is a very tempting swimming pool which we were too early in the year to use (opens 1st May). You are within easy distance of St Tropez, across the bay, which you can reach either by car or ferry (ferry is ideal as it adds to the charm of the trip). Port Grimaud and the village of Grimaud are well worth a visit and only a very short drive - about 15/20 minutes. We also went to Monaco, which was stunning, but it took quite some time to get there. The Palace is well worth a visit. Ste Maxime is a lovely town with restaurants on the front and quaint little shops all along the back streets. The Friday market is well worth a wander round. There is a large marina with some scrumptious boats. Plus, of course, there are the beaches. Would definitely go back.
