“Step inside and feel all stress melt away” What an oasis! My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Fiesta for a week in March 2011. The owners, Mike and alexis, just got on FlipKey. I am happy to finally have the chance of sharing my impressions-although the magic of this place is hard to put into words. Casta Fiesta affords luxurious elegance and seclusion in an exotic and down-to-earth location. It is perched high on a mountain dirt road overlooking the sparkling bays below, and you can toggle quickly back and forth between an ocean swim, a stroll through the authentic Tico village, and a quiet read (or a cool beer) in your shaded pool-side hammock. Think of this place as your dream home-the one you want to build when you win the lottery. We loved every minute of our stay and wish we could have added on another week. P.S. Kudos to the super friendly caretakers Diego and Jennifer.

“A View To Die For” Location,location,location. If you're looking for a place to dazzle the eyes, then this is it. The view is breathtaking. Spent many hours sitting at the pool and just starring out over the ocean. The crescent beach is only a short walk away and was never crowded. Only occasionally do you even see a person. Walk the beach to your hearts content. The home is well appointed and spacious. Just a 3 1/2 minute walk to a classy fine dining restaurant. Also found ample restaurants within a 10-15 minute drive. We found many activities to keep us busy: 2 great nearby golf courses, zip lines through the canopy, and a private guided trip down a jungle river where we got up close and personal to crocodiles, various varieties of monkey, and many wild birds, parakeets, and parrots. In fact don't be surprised when you see and hear Howler monkeys in and around the pool at the home itself. Not speaking Spanish, we were worried about being able to communicate. Was never a problem. Playa Flamingo is a small quaint village with many americans and Canadians to visit with. We also found flying into Liberia was an easy 45 min. drive to the residence. And don't forget to bring your camera. The nightly sunsets over the Pacific are breathtaking. We will definitely return many more times.

“Tropicak paradise with the comfort of a home” I was pleasantly surprised by the hosts of the complex where I stayed. Their friendliness and genuine willingness to help you to find your way around in the area was just what I needed. I felt at home. The room that I stayed in was very well appointed and private. The pool and the atmosphere around it was fabulous where I mingled with other guests and in the process made some new friends. The view and location is great. Being on the hill gave me the sense of security and privacy. Sunsets out of this world. Close proximity to local supermarket made my stay that much more affordable. I would definitely come back!

“Room with a view” We have visited Costa Rica regularly for the past 20+ years and whenever possible try to stay at Villas Casa Loma. Perched on the side of a mountain with stunning sunset views, it never ceases to amaze. There are two pools to relax in and around - one more social; the other, a short walk through the beautiful gardens, a little more quiet. Tom and Igor are always present to answer questions or recommend an outing and the staff accommodating and friendly. If you like a good morning walk or run, ask Tom and Igor about my route - approximately 7kms from the front door of my unit, down the mountain, along Flamingo Beach, around another mountain and back again...no better way to get going! A little pool time with a good book, an excursion into Flamingo or Tamarindo for lunch and home in time for a glass of wine and sunset - that pretty well sums up our days! Thanks Tom and Igor - we shall return!!

“Beautiful and serene holiday experience” Villas Casa Loma is everything it was described to be and more. The setting of Villas Casa Loma on a hillside gives you views of the mountains and the sea. We looked at he sea every morning and watched the sun go down every evening. We could sit on the balcony, watch the birds and listen to the monkeys. Igor and Tom light up the pool area every evening which creates quite enchanting atmosphere. My husband and I have visited many other resorts in the world and Villas Casa Loma was the most peaceful. There are lots of venues near by for fun and entertainment but when it comes time to sleep we liked the quiet, peacefulness of this little paradise. Igor and Tom have created their little paradise and encourage others to enjoy it too We did, indeed, enjoy it and thank them both for a wonderful visit.

“Incredible!” We had a wonderful stay at Daphne's place!!! She was very accommodating and was exact about everything as to what to expect. Much appreciated. This condo is like a home away from home. I could easily live there. The view is amazing, the surroundings are friendly and accommodating as well. Everything is very accessible i.e. groceries, pharmacy, hairdresser etc. I watched two weddings on the beach from the balcony. So nice. Very easy to adapt to this lifestyle for sure. We had everything we needed at the condo. My husband and I are were very impressed and happy that it was so perfect for us. We hope to be back again some day!!! Pura Vida!
