“Glamping in Cornwall” Stayed here recently for our first glamping experience as a family of 4. Great location. Site very new and well thought out. Glamping accommodation wonderful and had all we needed. Great to have option for cooking in or out and kitchen is well equipped. Would recommend as lovely beaches nearby and would love to come back.
“Stag Weekend” Oak lodge was a brilliant place! The tents were very comfortable and the communal areas (kitchen/shower block) were of a very high standard. We were a group of 17 and there was was loads of space to have fires, kick a ball around and plenty of tables and chairs for us to sit down and eat together. There were also power sockets in all the tents for phone chargers etc.
Would thoroughly recommend to anyone booking for a large group. Maeve was also really helpful with local spots to visit and directions.
“Absolutely delightful! A peaceful and relaxing family break in a great location.” After our late, damp arrival on Friday evening, all the the niggles of the day melted quickly away once we were greeted by Mark and Sonja and trundled our bags over to the safari tent, the children (3, 5 and 7) slipping gleefully across the field in their eagerness to explore! The accommodation was an absolute delight from the moment we stepped in and we enjoyed finding the wood burning stove, comfy beds with feather quilts, the roll top bath and enormously welcome provisions pack, which supplied us with supper and breakfast. Highlights for the children were sleeping in the cupboard bed (This illicited tears at parting from the youngest two), digging in a muddy trench, a campfire, candlelit bath times and space and freedom to roam in safety. For us, it was by far the most relaxing, peaceful, family break we’ve enjoyed to date and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with you again.
Thank you for creating such a fab holiday home, right on our doorstep!

“Brilliant venue for family/friends get together!” 10 of us plus a dog stayed in this barn in February 2016 for a walking holiday. It's a great space for a get-together. The owners were very helpful when it came to arranging keys/parking. The barn is basic with camping tables and a wood burner downstairs and one big open space for sleeping upstairs. There is no shower just cold running water. You need to take the usual equipment you would take camping, including stoves, minus the tent! I would recommend a warm sleeping bag if like us you are staying in February as there is no heating upstairs. Excellent venue for walking, booked the Royal Oak in Wetton for food, another good pub at Hulme End. Note on car access: there is parking for 2 or 3 small cars next to the Barn, the track is not one I would recommend driving down if you have a low sports car, my Yaris only just managed it!
“A gem! Five stars. A wonderful holiday in a lovely place!” This was an exceptional holiday. This is a wonderful business run by people who have a clear idea of what their guests want and do it well. Fun accommodation, very comfortable, very clean, glamping at its best I think. Hospitality perfect. Not crowded, lots of space, excellent facilities, very, very child friendly . Stunning location, easy to get to, driving here from Roscoff or St Malo easy and trouble-free. I will certainly be returning and would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone. I came with a young family, and the green space, proximity of the beach and clear and safe swimming, and the lovely swing under the tree....just perfect!
“Fantastic active family holiday” We had a great time here, the owner couldn't do enough for us, the tent was exceptional. We found plenty of activities to entertain the whole family close by, cycling, horse riding, beach, excellent walks. And after a strenuous day what better way to end than a bbq and relax in the hot rub!!!
