“The perfect weekend break !!!” The owners were so welcoming and helpful and can't thank them enough for their hospitality!
The location is amazing for country walks, which was great for our dog - he had the best time :) Will definitely be coming back, the barn is so beautiful and not being a driver the pub being a two minute walk away was ideal

“Brilliant Holiday Home - a home away from home!” What a wonderful time we had. Susan, the owner is fantastic. She text me during the week before our stay, met us at the flat on our arrival to welcome us and show us around.
During our stay, we text Susan to inform her (not complain), that the built in DVD player in the TV didn't work, and that the springs had gone on one side of the mattress. However, Susan's husband appeared later that day with a brand new mattress and DVD player! We were totally overwhelmed!!!
The flat has everything in it that you would want for a holiday home.
The Co-op is directly opposite the flat, and there's a common at the end of the road to walk the dog.
Brilliant value for money - we would definitely stay there again if we were in the area!

“This is a fabulous house and the owners did not spare any details” We went away for my mother in laws 70th with the extended family including a small 10 month old baby and the house was perfect. The owners arranged everything down to a caterer for the Saturday night. The only feedback I would have on the house is they could add a few extra couches in the TV room - apart from that, it was perfect!!

“Family stay” We had a fantastic stay at the Old School House with our daughter and our dog. This is a great property for family's, the house is beautiful, immaculately clean and in a great location. We did a lot of research before booking our week away and it paid off. We couldn't have asked for more and would highly recommend this property to anybody looking to holiday in the New Forest.
“Perfect Peacehaven Palace” We booked up Peacehaven Palace for our best friends hen weekend. We had a party of 18 girls and we wanted to find somewhere with enough space for everyone to be able to party, but also relax without getting on top of each other.
Peacehaven Palace was perfect. The rooms were clean and decorated well. The large kitchen and living room space were both brilliant for hosting a party - the dining table sat all of us and we all had room to play games (and dance!) in the living area.
We were lucky with the weather and the addition of the garden space and the swimming pool were fantastic for when we had time to chill out.
It was easy enough to get into Brighton, no more than a 20 minute drive - and parking outside the house was easy.
All in all we couldn't complain about anything - this is a great house if you have a family weekend or a party planned and you want to be by the sea side. With supermarkets and a bus route a stones throw away, it's a perfect choice.

“The location first class, apartment first class with beautiful sea views.” This apartment has it all,a parking space so no need to use the car to go to the beach it is just over the road so no car park fees. The apartment is very light , clean and has all you need for a relaxing holiday. It is situated on the third floor has a lift and a balcony with stunning views. Brian the owner was very helpful and even left a pair of binoculars for us to use which came in very handy watching the windsurfers and small boats etc. There is a Co-op 2 mins walk away and a couple of takeaways.Southbourne shops are less than 5mins by car with a car park at the top end of the shops.Bistro on beach is nice for meals snacks and ice creams. We were sorry we had to go home the weather was good to us which was a bonus.Such a good time was had by all we are booked for next year.Thankyou Brian.

“Best place in Newquay!” This place is the best place I've stayed in! Location is right in front of Fristral beach with amazing views with town centre only 10min walk. There are loads of parking spaces for 2 cars maybe you could get 3 if not busy. The house is spotlessly clean ,stylish with loads of space for us which was a party of 7. The house is over 3 floors. The groud floor has a bedroom and a bathroom with a power shower to get all the sand off your wetsuits.2nd floor is the living room with a nice big tv and a xbox. Also the kitchen with all the mod cons. There another 2 bedrooms and a family bathroom upstairs.Neil was a great host happy to help with anything.thanks. We come to Newquay every year and will definitely return.
“Lovely House” We stayed at Cherry Stones for my dads 60th. There was 7 adults and 2 children . This house is amazing and sleeps 10. All rooms so clean and tidy and enough space for everyone . Hot tub was also an added bonus and the whole family loved it . We went to paignton zoo and trago mill which the kids loved . This house is the perfect location and we had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend . We had to change the date as we were unable to make it the beginning of the month due to the snow . Forecast deemed it unsafe to travel due to Adverse conditions . The owner was more than accommodating by letting us change the date for a small fee rather than lose our money . Thank you John and Pauline for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home . We would def stay again . Top service received

“Great Accommodatioin in a beautiful spot” Don't be fooled by the photo's on the website as it really doesn't do the accommodation justice and this cottage is delightful!!
The accommodation is really good quality with all the facilities you would need at a fantastic price. The location is a little off the beaten track - but thats why we booked it and it didn't disappoint. There is easy access to the walking in Shropshire and southern snowdonia if you want to venture that far and we also walked a bit of the canal at Welshpool it also has easy access to the facilities in Shrewsbury. (Once you orientate yourself a bit)
We were made to feel really welcome by Maria and Ian (and so were our dogs - who got on fine with their dogs!)
This is an ideal place to escape from it all.
We would also stroingly recommend trying the duck eggs available in the honesty box as well as the victoria plums which are good eating and make great jam!!
We are planning to go back and visit again soon!
“Great family gathering house” Stayed here for a family birthday, chose this because it has 5 double bedrooms with one of these and a bathroom on the ground floor for an older relative. Location is great, with lovely views, walking distance to several pubs and restaurants, really close to gorgeous countryside, or rugged moors for walking, pretty market towns to explore like Bakewell, Buxton and Matlock. House is about right for 10 people and a few kids - good sized lounge with log burner and high beamed ceiling, large dining area with views over the valley, attractive and well equipped kitchen, 5 good sized bedrooms with comfy beds and 3 bathrooms. The pool table and table football were great, as would have been the hot tub in the courtyard, but it was unseasonably cold so we weren't able to use it. Nice extras like two fridges, lots of family games, a supply of logs and kindling, plastic cups and plates for outdoor eating etc. The temperature dropped suddenly when we arrived so we weren't warm enough in the lounge (as its such a big room) on the first day or two but the owner was fantastic about sorting this out and giving us some fab electric heaters until the central heating had caught up, it was really cosy after that. The house was really clean and tidy but there were some maintenance issues with things that needed painting, fixing or replacing but they weren't major and perhaps it was a sign of it being the end of the summer season. Would be great to stay here in the depths of winter providing you had plenty of supplies in, as well as in summer when the outdoor spaces and hot tub would be fantastic fun.

“Loft living in bohemian Brighton!” Great place to stay. Very handy for "The Lanes" with its restaurants, bars, coffee houses and shops. Spacious living room makes for a sociable stay. Great to have wi-fi, big TV and hi-fi.
Size of the deposit and the risk of damaging the property was a bit of a worry.

“Lovely, cosy cottage” A lovely, cosy cottage in a quiet village. Two local pubs within walking distance and a fantastic chippy with a good range of meals. We would definately stay here again.
“A perfect retreat” The Cider House is an absolutely perfect retreat, in an idyllic village. The house is spotless, with all the amenities and more, to provide a relaxing break. We loved everything about it from the clean smell as you open the door, the ‘welcome’ basket of goodies and milk in the fridge to the tranquil, coordinated décor and amazingly comfortable bed. The heating throughout is just right, no need to bring thermals. In fact, no need to bring much as everything is provided; hangers, hairdryer, umbrella, iron, bottle opener, illuminated make-up mirror, jewellery stand, fluffy towels…everything! Stratford is only eight minutes’ drive away or an hour’s stroll along the canal. The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust houses are well worth a visit, especially as Mary Arden’s Farm is just two minutes’ walk from The Cider House. There is a pub nearby but we found nothing could beat curling up in the evening on the lovely sofa with a glass of cider to watch a film from the vast library provided. Of course, a visit to the fantastic RSC is also essential, whether you are a lover of Shakespeare or not, it is an experience not to be missed. A huge Thank You to Craig and Lee for making our holiday truly amazing.
