“beautiful surroundings and amazing cottage” Just what we were looking for having a 6 yr old with us. We wanted the freedom and no hassle and thats exactly what Honeysuckle cottage provided and more!! The owner was a phone call away if we didnt understand anything and provided helpful info about the area. It was spotless on arrival and there was already items left for arrival like tea coffee etc and the open fire had already been laid for us to light. There was a folder telling us places to visit and what was going on in the local areas including a recent pub menu and the village booklet with details about the surrounding villages. It also had how to use the heating, fire and it had a tv/dvd/freeview for those cold nights watching tv round an open fire wih coal etc provided. The beds were so comfortable and it was very homely. The back garden was lovely with decking and table and chairs to have a coffee and was safe for the kids being fenced and there was a grass bit for the kids to play on. All round lovely cottage in a lovely area unspoilt countryside. On a larger note for those foodies out there, there is a lovely pub down the road which is child friendly and very lovely inside. All round great holiday..amazing value for a gorgeous place...thanks Elizabeth x

“Wonderful location” This was the perfect cottage for our family Christmas . The peaceful woodland setting meant those with busy London jobs could sleep well, and the family space ( large sitting room with log fire and three sofas , plus large kitchen ) gave us plenty of options to be together or find a quiet spot to read . The TV room with reclining chairs was an added bonus . Glorious walks ( and runs ) from the door , great pubs nearby and the wonderful Cowdray Farm Shop just ten minutes away . Alex responded to my calls for help or extra supplies within minutes , even on Christmas morning when I was baffled by the Rangemaster cooker . Overall , an excellent choice for a family or group get- together .

“Wonderful, cosy wood cabin in idyllic situation - a perfect retreat” My husband and I and our children have stayed in Dragon Fly a number of weekends and have had a wonderful time. The cabins are just what you need for a weekend retreat - they are spacious enough for four people with a lovely open plan kitchen/ living area. Having two bathrooms also makes a big difference with large teenagers! We loved the walks from the cabin and the views of the lake with the swans was magical. The cabin was very well appointed with washing machine, dishwasher and a good sized shower. It all worked beautifully and we would love to stay there again! HIghly recommended.

“Lovely chalet in peaceful surroundings with a sea view and the dog loved it too.” The chalet is sufficiently isolated by the 36 step climb to reach it that peace and quiet reigned. A lovely sea view to wake up to and the facilities, in the chalet, were great. The only thing was, it would have benefited from a frying pan for breakfast time. The children and the dog loved the location . I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

“Perfect for quiet break away from it all.” What a lovely few days we have spent at Acorn Lodge celebrating our 28th Wedding Anniversary. The lodge is fully equipped and very clean (very important during these Covid times) and has everything you could need included in the rental cost. The lodge is well situated for travelling across North Norfolk and a visit to Pensthorpe Nature Reserve is a must. The host Angie is very welcoming with a supply of freshly laid eggs and is very descrete, but there if you need her. It is so discreet that the SATNAV took us past the entrance before we realised we were there. This is a small price to pay however for such a lovely Lodge. Look out for a sign saying "The Retreats" not Acorn Lodge. 10/10.

“A delightful stay.” What an amazing place, everything you could wish for. Beautiful garden, wonderful breakfast and perfect for our two dogs. Lovely walks on the doorstep. Local pub had great food and dog friendly. Victoria, the owner, was lovely and very welcoming. Would highly recommend Orchard Studio. It is a very special place. One review I read before I booked said it was uber cute and that is exactly what it was. Have to say it was just perfect. Many thanks.

“Fantastic bungalow” Stayed for a long weekend over the Easter break. Fantastic, clean and well equipped bungalow, with WiFi which was a huge bonus with our children (aged 11 and 16) as the weather wasn’t great. Added extra of having Now TV in 2 of the rooms. The kids loved the large settee that fitted us all on to watch a movie and they even slept in there one night rather than in the twin room. Plenty of storage and coat hangers. Even though we didn’t take our dogs with us, would have been the perfect holiday bungalow for dogs. Close to the sea front and shops, great chinese takeaway nearby that delivered. Will definitely book again to come back and stay.
