“Perfect house in a truly beautiful location” Our family of four enjoyed a 1 week stay at Searenity. Despite our arrival late in the evening we were met with a very warm welcome from Herb and Janette. The following morning they sat with us and gave us a fantastic guide as to what to see on Kangaroo Island and how to get there. The local knowledge they shared with us helped to make our holiday really special, from great spots to buy and eat fantastic seafood, to detailed information on the National park walks and lookouts (Herb was a park ranger there); outdoor activities that would appeal to our children; and information about the beaches around the island. The level of service they provide is above and beyond and was very much appreciated. The house has been fitted out with all you could want for, and then some! Nothing left to chance! Not once was there something we thought of, that wasn't on hand! The property is meticulously maintained, and it was a pleasure to call it home for our time there. The Foxtel was an added bonus for our kids. The location at Emu Bay was gorgeous and looking out over the water from the front deck was so relaxing. We found Emu Bay to be a great base for us as it was only a 15 minute drive into Kingscote for supermarket/restraunts etc, but being just far enough away to enjoy the peace and tranquility it offered. The beach at Emu Bay was great for our children for swimming. All in all it ticked all the boxes. We would highly recommend Searenity. Thanks Herb and Janette for a great stay.
