“Perfect location for our stay in Paphos” Elysia was the perfect location for our stay in Paphos. The apt was well equiped and we especially liked the cosy living room with two big sofas. In November it becomes already dark around 5 pm and therefore we spent most of the evenings in this lovely apt. The kitchen has everything we needed for cooking. We used the spacious pool almost every day and there are plenty of sun beds in this low season.When we once had problems with electricity the caretaker Sheena came at once to fix it. The bus station is only outside of the property to take us to the harbour area or the town center. The apt was exactly as described and my husband and I thought of it as perfect for two adults or with two kids.

“The best apartment I've stayed in.” An apartment in a great location, awesome swimming pool and very high quality interior. Location Set in a great location being only a 15 min walk down to bar street and the harbour area, there are 2 mini markets a 5 minute walk down the road (turn left out the complex gates). There is a bus (number 603) that runs past the complex, in the day it stops outside the mini market at twenty to the hour and after 4pm it stops at ten past the hour. This will take you to the main bus station in the harbour which you can then get a bus to pretty much anywhere. They only do singles at €1.50 whic is the cheapest option if you are just going there and back, but if you wish to travel on numerous buses then you can get an all day pass at €5. Apartment The quality of this place is amazing. Everything you could possibly need is provided, even down to the fact it has english plug sockets. The layout is great with an open plan kitchen/dining area and lounge. The furnishing is to an excellent standard and set out very well. You have english TV and wifi which is very useful for researching places to visit. There is air con in each room but the only down side to this is that they are set to a timer so turn off every hour which is rather annoying in the night. I do believe this is a requirement though to reduce power consumption and there is also ceiling fans in the bedrooms which do help and stay on. There is a downstairs toilet and a bathroom upstairs (with an actual bath) and an en-suite is the double room. Only downside to the bedrooms is that the beds are hard and gave me a bad back. Complex The site itself is very well set out and looks awesome. Its a shame the bar, shops and spa are not completed yet but this did not really bother us but I do believe this will just make this complex out of this world. The swimming pool is awesome, pretty much every day we were the only people around it, it was like having our own private pool that is massive. The temperature of the pool is lovely, sometimes its like getting into a bath. If you do get a taxi here, a lot of them are not sure where it is as its quite new, if you tell them its in the universal area they will know where you mean. Owners/Communication From start to finish I can not fault the owners. From initial contact I phoned Karen and had a lovely conversation with her and then from there on her communication was often and in depth. Any questions I had she was happy to help and provided me with all the information I needed. She also put me in contact with a lady called Denise that provided us with an airport transfer which made our life easier and was for a very good price, cheaper than the taxis. Paphos Paphos is a lovely place to visit, if you go down bar street then just ignore this, it does look a mess and most of the bars are closedbut just head for the harbour area as this is much nicer and it has some lovely restaurants. Try The imperial for chinese, probably the best one Ive been to. Alea is great for watching the sunset and the food is lovely. A bit further a field is Fikardos which is near The avanti hotel, a lovely restaurant and they sell their own wine which is really nice so much so we brought some back with us. All in all we had a great time and I imagine once the complex is finished we will be back again.

“A home from home experience...but with sun!! :)” I'd always stayed in hotels so was not really sure what to expect but I really had nothing to worry about, the apartment we stayed at was absolutely fantastic, it had everything you could wish for, we wanted for nothing and felt so comfortable, a home from home, and being 2 females (me and mum) felt very safe. The restaurants were a short walk away (about 15 mins) but that was ideal as there was no noise or hustle and bustle from tourists, we had the pool to ourselves most days and, although cold, the pool was clean and the sun loungers comfy. I would definitely recommend this apartment and the complex to family and friends, the holiday was so much more than we thought it would be and a lot of that was because our accommodation and the complex was so wonderful.
