“An idyllic setting,excellent facilities and very helpful hosts.” I would highly recommend millstone cottages number 3. The facilities were excellent the jacuzzi and sauna got plenty of use. The kids climbing frame and zip line was also a favourite. The grounds of the house gave plenty of scope for ball games. The house itself was beautiful and very homely. The beds were very comfortable. As for Danny and Dolores they were very helpful and friendly and advised us of local attractions and places to eat. We very much hope to return.

“Great find!” I stayed here for 2 nights while attending a wedding in Harvey's point with a group of friends. What a great find. It was so reasonable (especially compared with the price of hotels in the area). The owner Gareth was nothing but helpful despite a late night wake up call for directions really late on the night of arrival. The house itself is amazing and the setting was gorgeous too. It probably helped that the weather was really nice. A car would be a definite plus if you were staying here. The taxi had no problem dropping us home from Harvey's Point after the wedding but you wouldn't want to be making too much of them trips given the fact that the taxi drivers don't believe in using meters and can tend to be a little pricey. This is not the house's fault though! The house is so well maintained and all the bedrooms and living area/kitchens/bathrooms are gorgeous. The pictures on the website were true to form. If I had to make one complaint it would be the fact that we had difficulty finding it when we arrived. That may be down to the fact that it was so late at night, we were all a little tired and emotional! I would definitely recommend to a friend and I'd like to think we would come back again at some point!

“Perfect Getaway” Lovely house with fabulous views over the bay. We had a great family holiday and the house was clean, tidy and well-equipped. It is in a great location for exploring Donegal from Glenveagh National Park to the Lighthouse at Fanad. Great beaches nearby along with a good selction of restaurants in the surrounding area, if you wish a night off from cooking. Next door's very friendly dog also pays a visit - if you fancy throwing some sticks for her. Would definitely visit again.

“The house is a large, spacious, well kept property suitable for a large number of people.” We were welcomed by the owners and shown the property, We were reassured that should we need anything he was available. A beautiful touch was a large home made scone of bread and 12 farm fresh eggs left in the kitchen- it was really appreciated. We were also given a constant supply of turf for the open fire in the living room- a really homely touch. We were having a family wedding from the property and found it to be very suitable both for space on the morning of wedding and also for accommodating the guests whom we entertained after the reception. The house is located a short distance outside of Milford and although private with beautiful views it is not isolated. Really enjoyed our stay and the house was admired by the people who visited us.
