Villas in Florida and Apartments by Holiday Lettings

Why Florida?

Welcome to the Sunshine State, where Miami Beach, the mysterious Everglades, Kennedy Space Center and dazzling Disney World await. Wherever you go, it’s sure to be the first of many adventures in Florida.

Island Life

The Florida Keys are among the most incredible natural attractions in the States. Just south of Miami, over 1700 islands break away from the mainland and stretch 120 miles into the Gulf of Mexico. These are tropical islands, just 90 miles from Cuba at their nearest point. Each key is surrounded by white sand and electric blue sea, and thanks to the Overseas Highway, you can drive to paradise.

The House Of Mouse

Florida is home to the biggest and most popular Disney attraction on the planet: Walt Disney World, also known as the Magic Kingdom. If you’re travelling with children (or still a child at heart yourself), you can’t pass by Orlando without stopping in for your dose of Disney. The park is vast, however, so a quick visit can easily turn into an extended stay! There’s always just one more ride to tempt you.

American Safari

Villas and apartments in Florida are the best way to get close to the Everglades, Florida’s most exciting national park. Just a short trip from Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, The Everglades are huge tropical wetlands, home to alligators, anacondas, panthers, manatees, flamingos, turtles and more. The best way to (safely) see them in their natural environment is to book an airboat ride into the deep recesses of the swamp where cars can’t travel.

Places to visit in Florida

Broward County

Fort Lauderdale, capital of Broward County, gets 3,000 hours of sunshine a year. On one side, the remarkable Fort Lauderdale beach invites you to swim in the Caribbean. The other backs directly onto the Everglades, putting you within easy reach of Florida’s signature airboat rides.

Southwest Gulf Coast

From Tampa in Central Florida to Everglades City in the south stretches the Southwest Gulf Coast—an astonishing chain of tropical beaches facing onto the Gulf of Mexico. It’s a hotspot for dolphin and whale watching, and you can easily book a tour or rent a boat to see them up close.

Central Florida

Central Florida is home to much more than Disney World, although—let’s face it—that is a big draw. Orlando and Tampa are the major cities, surrounded by attractions like the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art.

Florida Panhandle

Bordering Alabama and Louisiana in Florida’s northwest, the Panhandle is home to the state’s finest beaches and parks: Pensacola and Panama City beaches offer tropical seas so inviting even dolphins visit them! The adventurous should head inland to the Florida Caverns State Park for canoeing, horseriding and caving.
