Why Central Florida?
Thrilling theme parks, chilled out beaches and sensational shopping malls are the order of the day in Central Florida. It’s not all roller coasters and clothing stores though; discovering its fascinating Native American heritage and serene lakeside spots make Central Florida a great all-rounder.
To Disney World… And Beyond!
With over 52 million people coming through the gates each year, the Walt Disney World Resort is the most visited attraction on Earth. It’s easy to see why, as the number of rides and attractions is mind-blowing. From Star Wars simulators to Cirque du Soleil performances, this magical kingdom has been enchanting young and old since 1971.
If you’re travelling with toddlers in tow, a visit to DUPLO Valley at LEGOLAND Florida will mean smiles all round. Muggles of all ages will be spellbound by a trip to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, while movie buffs will be in their element at Universal Studios. If you need a breather from the dizzying excitement of the theme parks, family-friendly beaches include the pretty Clearwater Beach and the quieter New Smyrna Beach.
The Great Outdoors
Central Florida has some beautiful green spaces away from the buzz and excitement of the major tourist attractions. Book a tour at Gypsy Gold to learn about the delightful Gypsy Vanner Horse and get up close to these beautiful creatures. For a little peace and quiet, head to the tranquil Rainbow River and enjoy a picnic while watching manatees, turtles and ducks in the river. And if you’re looking for somewhere to take a romantic stroll, Sholom Park, abundant with plant and birdlife, is perfect.
