“Idyllic and peaceful” The cabin is in a beautiful location with plenty of space for our 7 adults and 1 child, age ranges from 8 to 85 plus dog. The large windows let in the light and makes you feel like you are in the tree canopy. We watched Herons and lots of other wildlife with lots of bird song around us, Granddaughter was so excited to hear her first owl hooting. We hired a hot tub which Robbie was more than happy to help make the arrangements for them to set it up after 11 on the day of our arrival. I think the cabin is in the best spot in the park of the 12 cabins as had private (steep) driveway so no reason for passers by. The bathrooms and kitchen are well catered with utensils etc including a dishwasher which is a must when there are 8 of you. The pool was great and as the park is small you often have it to yourself. We all had a great time and were amazed at the cabin.....Thank you Robbie, I am sure we will be back

“Fabulous weekend” Just back from a fabulous weekend in a fabulous cottage. The cottage itself was perfect, tastefully decorated and extremely clean. My children loved the play area. The location was amazing, we got to explore the area of Llangollen which is so picturesque and went on some beautiful walks. Can not wait to book another weekend here very soon. “Perfect!” Our group of extended family was visiting relatives in Wrexham but wanted to experience the Welsh countryside and Raymond and Helen's cottage was just perfect - close and convenient to Wrexham but it felt like we were a world away. Surrounded by lots of sheep and cows it was quiet and peaceful. The cottage itself was so clean and well appointed we had everything we needed. And there were lots of extra thoughtful touches like coffee, tea, milk, butter and a homemade loaf of bread that were much appreciated. Everyone really loved it! The only problem we had was finding the cottage. We had a GPS but the roads on it ended before we found the cottage so we spent about 45 minutes finding it. But we did it in the dark which was our mistake. We would just recommend getting there in daylight and perhaps asking for detailed directions from Raymond and Helen.

“Beautiful suite and grounds” Booked the Garden Suite for my daughters' 19th Birthday as we had tickets for a show at Pavillion Theatre in Rhyl. Knew it would be beautifully decorated and equipped as we normally stay at the owners other property in Prestatyn but it was already booked. Lovely welcome pack awaited us with chocolates and cereals. Lovely fluffy bathrobes and slippers supplied but we had such a short busy stay that we never had time for the fabulous hot tub - we can't wait to come back in summer to use it. Garden was beautifully maintained and secure for our dog. The suite is perfectly located only a short drive from Rhyl and Prestatyn and we even ventured to Ruthin Castle (about 30 mins away) for afternoon tea. I would definitely recommend the Garden Suite - especially for a couples romantic retreat.

“A peaceful, very comfortable flat with wonderful views” We had a great holiday in this spacious and very clean flat which provides everything you need to feel at home. As it was quite chilly on a few days we also enjoyed the oil fired iron stove. The views from the kitchen table onto the other side of the valley are fantastic and the bleating of the sheep helps you to unwind.

“Lovely little place.” Stayed there for a weekend, really lovely place to stay with all your needs catered for on a self catering package. Really clean and tidy place. Carol is delightful, makes you feel at home and is there on the end of the phone if you need her. Definitely, pay another visit.

“Excellent Caravan in a great location” My husband, I and my two children have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the caravan everything is provided, the location is fantastic, near all amenities and the beach. “Peaceful retreat” Sat on the bank of the river Dee this house gave us the perfect peaceful spot that we were looking for. Warm and cosy with plenty of space to chill out after a soak in the roll top bath. Disturbed only by the sound of the river and the whistle of the steam railway, we were able to relax. Our only dilemma was if we should go to the pub for a pint and supper, again ( well it's only a hundred meters away), or if we should cook for ourselves and enjoy it with a beer on our own terrace overlooking the river ... Penlan is a lovely place just to get away from it all...

“Gorgeous cottage in a beautiful setting” A gorgeous place to stay! The setting is stunning, with views of the surrounding hills and Castell Dinas Bran, and is only a short walk away from Llangollen town. The cottage itself is lovely, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you might need - including a coffee machine and a record player! The host was also super lovely and helpful.
