“A superb holiday property” We have recently returned from a family holiday at Hengoed cottage and can't praise it enough. We were met by Mark the owner, who made us feel very welcome and was so helpful throughout the booking experience. The cottage was immaculate in all areas and it's obvious that the owner had put a lot of thought into creating a real homely feel. The quality of the furniture, beds, bedding and fittings was superb and really had that "luxury" feel to it. The cottage was totally spotless in all areas and so different to other holiday lets that we had stayed in before. We were a party of 6 and the cottage was really spacious for our needs, especially with the luxury of having 2 bathrooms. The front decked area was great for outdoor dining and a real sun trap for most of the day. As for location, it was a 5 minute drive to either Llandudno or Rhos on sea and most days we left the car behind and walked into town. There is however a bus stop at the end of the road. To sum up, if your looking for a holiday cottage without the worry of sub standard accommodation then Hengoed is perfect and from now on we won't be staying anywhere else when we visit Llandudno. Well done Mark.
“Fabulous Stay” The farmhouse easily took six adults, four children and two dogs. It was so well equipped, very clean and comfortable. There is a lovely large reargarden attached to the farmhouse with a duck pond in front of the property. Plenty of room for the three cars to park. There is easy access to the nearby coastal resorts but I was happy to spend time at the farm. We were very lucky with the weather between 4&8 May, however it was much warmer and sunnier at the farm than by the coast. We hired the hot tub twice and much preferred it during the sunny afternoon than early evening. Michelle is incredibly helpful and is always available. My fault I did not mention that some of the group were allergic to feather bedding and she came out quite late to change it. I would highly recommend the farmhouse and hope we return again.
“Great for a big family holiday” This is a lovely house, five large bedrooms three of which are family rooms. It's got everything that you need for a large group, plenty of space for everyone. Located a short stroll from the beach. Would highly recommend it and hope to return next year
“Well equiped, comfortable and clean property.” Lovely property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bathroom amazing! Swing, slide, trampoline and tennis court in the grounds for guests use. Helpful, friendly owners.
“Home from Home” This house is ideal for families or a group of friends. All rooms light. airy. well furnished and decorated. The kitchen is also very well equipped. Easy access to Llandudno and surrounding area. Would certainly recommend this house and hope to return soon.
“Great cottage,” Have been to Llandudno many times over the years, particularly when I was a child.
Was great to go back and revisit childhood memories, and make new ones with my wife and our little boy.
Escape Cottage is lovely. It's on a hill, but that's fine. Only a few minutes walk from the town and the prom/pier. Literally next to the tram stop, which is great and not at all noisy.
Would definitely revisit. Word of warning to tall people. The words 'duck or grouse' painted above the step from lounge into kitchen,- take them literally! I groused several times!!
Great place, will definitely recommend
“Another great stay at the blue house - highly recommended” We stayed here a few years before and were very happy to return. Now has a new kitchen with dishwasher which was a nice bonus. There are so many places to walk from the house if you don't want to take the car. We travelled with a 5 and 7 year old and they want to return and felt at home in the house. Everything was clean and well presented, the owner is a pleasure to deal with. It is a grey place to relax and do little, watching the world go by or to venture out and return to a wam, smart house. We will remember both our stays at the house fondly for years to come.
“Fantastic week” A fabulous Christmas at Roslyn. The bungalow is perfect. It has everything you could need. Would love to return in the summer to enjoy the garden. Abergele is perfect base for exploring north wales. Thanks Christine and Mark and happy new year to you all. Julie and Matt

“Perfect stay” Have just returned from a six night stay in this lovely bungalow. I stayed with my husband and elderly father and the accommodation suited us all. We had the most wonderful weather and spent alot of time relaxing in the back garden and enjoying using the bbq. We had days out in llandudno and Conwy and Betwsy coed. One lovely sunny day was spent at Bodnant Gardens which are absolutely stunning but does involve quite alot of walking so dad stayed at the bungalow sunbathing. The walk to the beach takes about 15 to 20 mins or 5 mins in the car , with plenty of free parking. The town has everything you need including a Tesco. A very warm welcome and some lovely goodies on arrival . Thankyou for a lovely holiday x
