“Perfect!” Get away from all the tourists pouring off the cruise ships onto Cozumel these days and have a truly wonderful and unique island experience. Walk out the door of your own tropical oasis and onto the real streets of Cozumel surrounded by natives, fantastic food at reasonable prices, and not a souvenir shop in sight! If you're looking for Cancun style high rise hotels and burnt tourists - they are right off the piers. If you want to really really get away and experience Cozumel like it used to be (and still can be, if you know where to go) go and visit Bob and Sarah at Casa Colonial. You're about to make some new best friends! From the moment you walk in the front gates and pick your jaw up off the floor after seeing the beautiful gardens, these guys take your hand and let you know where to go, what to see, and better yet - where to avoid! They've been living there for quite a while and know the island inside and out. We've been back to the island a number of times and they always have the latest word on what's new and hot and what's not worth it anymore. If you just want to lay around in a hammock all day, they have that covered too! Times change but Casa Colonial, Bob and Sarah are always the bomb!

“Memories” I keep thinking of the amazing colours in the sea! Then there were the margaritas ... ooh I should have spent longer in Cozumel. Wherever I went I enjoyed but it was lovely also to come "home"! At "Henny's Place" it really felt that way, the other guests all mucked in together to create this family feeling. To sit around the pool area and chat in the balmy weather ...what more does the doctor order?! When you returned to your room there was everything there too - the Summer Place Inn comes highly recommended.

“Best place in Cozumel, no kidding” I have been going to Cozumel for 30 years and never knew there was something this nice there. Each room is like a Master, all with bathrooms. The views are incredible, the dock is right outside. The dive boat picked me up and I was already half way to the best dive sites. The pool and sand area is right there and very well kept. Owners were helpful with planning other activities, and were available for questions. The house was clean and we did not have any problems. Very large Kitchen and Dining areas. I would recommend this to anyone.

“Awesome place to stay!” I stayed here with a a group of friends. The location was great- being on the first floor was so convenient with easy access to the pool and the beach! But still private which was fantastic. I would not stay anywhere else !
