“Fantastic apartment with great sea views” Great apartment fully equipped with everything you might need.
There is even a dishwasher and also a washing machine and dryer , which might come in handy if you are staying with a family.
The apartment was plenty big enough for inviting our friends over for dinner who live near by.
With a seat for everyone in the living room.
The bed is very comfy and the apartment was spotless. The sea views from the living room and kitchen/ diner were great and lovely to be able to sit on the balcony with a drink and a book.
Newcastle itself has everything you need with lovely coffee shops and independent shops.
There are lots of Forrest parks to explore and other activities, the tourist information are very helpful.
It was lovely to be greeted by the owner and there is the added bonus of private parking.
Wi fi would have been great especially if the weather had of been bad and a DVD player to watch a film and have a cosy night in would have been a bonus.
Not suitable for people that might struggle with stairs as you have to go up a flight to get to the front door.
A great place for a short break or longer.
Would absolutely recommend this apartment. It is right in the centre of things but not at all noisy. View from the front is second to none, and the interior was beautiful and also scrupulously clean. … More
“A very comfortable base to explore the area.” A lovely home to stay in. Very well equipped and ideally situated. The hosts were fantastic. Grey Abbey is lovely - lots of antique shops and gorgeous places to eat; The Wildfowlers is a must.

“Lovely House, Beautiful Views” Arrived on Sat 15th April, Richard very kindly let us in early as we had plans in the evening and wanted to get settled. Lovely spacious house with beautiful views over the Irish Sea and within walking distance into Donaghadee along the Commons park, tennis courts and green bowls on your door step. The house was very well equipped with everything you needed and was perfect for all 6 of us as very spacious, large kitchen diner which was lovely to have our big family meals and a few board games in the evening. I would recommend to anyone who is thinking of a stay in lovely Donaghadee. :) Thank you Richard.

“A fantastic stay in beautiful County Down” A great place to stay to explore the beautiful County Down countryside. We were made to feel at home by our hosts, John and Roberta. Lovely to receive a welcome pack of goodies waiting for us. Excellent accommodation. Spacious and comfortable, warm and homely. The cottage had all the facilities we could have wanted, complete with Christmas tree and decorations for our stay.
John and Roberta were available to give lots of tips on interesting places to visit and made our stay hassle-free.
A first class experience we will be keen to repeat.

“Well priced good accommodation which is exactly as described” The accommodation was perfect to our needs. The location was very handy for walking to the beach front in Newcastle and for walking in the beautiful Mourne mountains. The property has good wifi and TV provision and the kitchen is well equipped. Jason made every effort to keep us informed before our stay and was available to ensure we had everything we needed
“Perfect location for Murlough Bay and surrounding countryside plus all you need at your doorstep” Lovely property in beautiful surroundings made this a very enjoyable experience for all our families(especially the grandchildren). Lots of amenities close at hand (in and around the village) for all ages. Property was of a good size and well provided.
“Hiltop” Excellent modern accommodation and very welcoming hosts. Lovely welcome pack.
Would love to return perhaps in the summer. Coincidentally we had previously stayed nearby many years ago and the owner of that property was David's father!

“great place in a great location” Judy met our crew of three upon arrival, and made sure we understood how everything worked. She also pointed us in the right direction for a good pub dinner. We spent all day wandering around the beautiful Tollymore Forest, which was a two minute walk from the front door. I loved Judy's touches of fresh flowers, lots of information about restaurants and area highlights as well as a little jug of milk for my morning coffee. The back patio was just beginning to flower as well. Lots more for us to do in this area, so hope to be back some day.
