“Christmas by sea” A lovely Christmas vacation with family in Newcastle Co. Down. The apartment was spacious and well situated. We were very comfortable and delighted that a Christmas tree and decorations had been provided. We enjoyed a delicious lazy brunch in the nearby Maude's cafe the day after our arrival and were lucky enough to wake up to a beautiful sunny view of the beach on Christmas morning. The only drawback for us was the lack of a dishwasher. On a practical level the apartment was clean and well supplied with crockery and cutlery. It's notable that there are small additional charges for towels, electricty and heating if you go over what is expected.
