Cueva Peralta
Unique accommodation in a superb location

visited Cueva Peralta in March 2015 with my husband, 7 year old daughter and our dog. We stayed for 3 days and had a fantastic time. Bob was amazingly welcoming and his mini guide to the local village and tips for trips was invaluable. We walked to the village on Friday night (an easy 10 minute stroll) and enjoyed delicious cheap drinks and free tapas at Victors and another bar which I cant recall sorry, both were child friendly. The cave had everything we needed and was surprisingly cosy. We used the wood burner at night. more for atmosphere but it threw out a lot of heat and the house really retained the warmth. It was very dark and quiet at night, a perfect chill out space. My daughter was crazy about the accommodation and really enjoyed her cave room. She loved collecting wood for the fire, exploring down by the river and lounging in the hot tub. She said it was one of her best holidays ever - high praise from a 7 year old - and she didn't want to leave! We really enjoyed our stay - the house was fab with lots of atmosphere and in a great central location for exploring, I'd definitely recommend it!see more
