“This cottage is a wonderful combination of artistic charm and relaxing comfort” My sister and I stayed in the cottage for two nights this summer. It was a totally awesome experience. We were visiting the area where we had spent many wonderful summers years ago. The cottage was immaculate and the every inch shows the craftsmanship and artistic esthetic of the owners. It was very clear that the house has been lovingly restored by a master craftsman. In addition, the house is so cleverly decorated you never tire of exploring all it's nooks and crannies. While my sister visited with a friend, I hiked to Lion's Head on the nearby Appalachian Trail for fantastic views of the Housatonic Valley. There is so much to do in this area and there are wonderful restaurants and coffee houses close by. This is a great place for a weekend get away or a week long stay. Our favorite spot was the large deck where we enjoyed the beautiful landscaping and relaxing views of the Housatonic river. This place is a treasure. I've stayed in many fine Inns and Hotels over the years, but none compare with the ambience of this charming cottage.
