“Excellent Value” We have stayed in Barbados every year for the last ten years but this was the first time we have based ourselves on the South Coast. Over the years we have stayed in more luxurious properties, and we have stayed in arguably more conveniently located ones, but Rosalie Number Five is without doubt the best value apartment we have stayed in. The apartment itself is very spacious, well equipped, and exactly as described if not better. The views are spectacular, and the only noise you can hear is that of the sea. A similar seafront location, in an apartment of this size and quality would be three or four times the price on the West Coast. Ok there is no beach right outside Rosalie, but there is a small one within 400m, and Miami beach (my personal favourite beach on the whole island, and that of my kids) is just 5 minutes in the car so this didn't really bother us (if it had we wouldn't have booked!). I would say a car is pretty much essential. You could walk to the beaches/shops if you were that way inclined, but a hire car makes everything so much more convenient. Southern Rentals (as recommended by the owner) sorted us out a motor within a couple of hours when we called him from the apartment on arrival, and at a competitive price. Another recommendation from the owner was "Steve's Bar" although I think it's official name is Surfers Bay Bar. Five minutes walk from the apartment, delightful laid back spot overlooking the sea, friendly staff, cheap-ish drinks (especially during Happy Hour) and decent simple food. A million miles away from some of the posher places on the island, and all the better for it. Finally the owner of the apartment (Simon) was very helpful, as were his representatives on the island. Everything was stress free and as described which is exactly what you want when on holiday. If you are looking for a place in the South of Barbados Rosalie Apartment 5 gets a big thumbs up from this very satisfied visitor.

“very nice apartment, quiet location, lovely time had by all” Firstly, I would like to say thank you to Donna and Andrew. They are the most helpful people you could ask for, without being intrusive and always on hand if you needed them. I have stayed in Barbados numerous times (in fact this was my 17th visit). The apartment is spacious, in a great quiet location, whilst at the same time being close enough to bars and restaurants and any nightlife you may need. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 with air conditioning and one without. The disadvantage of the third bedroom is that is doesn't have any outside windows and relies on a fan and ventilation to keep it cool. That having been said, Donna was totally up front about this and although I was a little concerned, it was absolutely fine and didn't get too hot at all. The beach was 5 minutes walk away - perfect, although this is one of the busiest beaches on the island and not ideal if you don't like rows and rows of chairs!! There are, however, numerous other beaches within easy driving (or bus) distance. I noticed that one guest commented on the facilities within the kitchen, I have to say that I did not experience these issues at all. We cooked in on several occasions and did not find any issues at all with this. All in all, a great apartment, location and fabulous holiday.

“Perfect holiday home in fantastic location!” We spend 2 perfect weeks here in January. The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac very close to Oistins. The house itself is very large and spacious with everything you need including washing machine and microwave etc. The balcony is great and we ate dinner most evening watching the sunset. At the end of the road you can easily catch the minibus taxis to either Dover Beach or Enterprise and it only costs $2. The supermarket is about 10 minutes walk and they have everything you need including a pharmacy. We have already recommended Seafern to all our friends/family and will definitely be going back as it’s a fantastic house in a perfect location!
