“True Immersion -- Lifetime Experience” There are not enough words to convey how wonderful of a time I had, the week I stayed at Daisy's home. If you are looking for true immersions; living among the locals... this is the place. Her penthouse is spacious and clean. It's located in a condo/apartment complex with a guard house. In addition, for incidentals there is a little convenience store on the premises. If you'd like you can ask Daisy to organize local trips around Guilin as well as restaurants. Pretty much if need something done she and her husband, a doctor of massage therapy, can make it happen. If you ask her husband he will give you a massage at the penthouse; for a fee. Her home is quite comfortable and all the rooms have aC. The location is not in downtown Guilin and that was ok for us. But a 5 min bus from in front of the complex will get you to supermarkets, a small mall, restaurants, and banks. If you are willing to learn Chinese and willing to speak English to children, Daisy has a school that teaches English to elementary school kids. We took advantage of that and did a lot of local activities with the children and their families. I felt very welcome in Daisy's home and in Guilin. So happy I lived among the locals.

“Loved this apartment and loved China” 4 of us (2 Adults and 2 boys ages 10 and 9 at the time) stayed here in July last year for a week. The apartment was very clean, had everything you need, is secure and safe. About a 15 / 20 min walk to the train station that takes you everywhere very quickly. We went to the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and a few other places..everything we did we loved, would love to come back to Beijing. Jason and his dad are great hosts and really helped us out when needed. Great Internet. A+++++
