I'm really sorry that you were disappointed, though some of your problems could have been dealt with if you had mentioned them at the time & other things you mention you were warned of in advance.
For example the advert doesn't say 2 bathrooms & the downstairs bath has a shower - I merely said the ensuite shower is bran-new & therefore much nicer.
The "discount" you mention was actually half price & agreed because I knew the last room in the house hadn't been finished & would need work during your stay. Graham never came before 11am. and was always gone by 3pm. & the room is completely shut off from the rest of the house.
I am sorry if you found me intrusive - I only ever came into the house to speak to the decorator. Many holiday lettings are part of houses, barn conversions, etc. & my part is completely separate. You only ever saw me a few times, in the garden - at least no-one drove a tractor past your windows at 5am!
We are very dog-friendly. I don't think even the minority of lettings who welcome dogs normally allow free rein for dogs in their gardens & we are within 10 yards of the whole of Derbyshire for walking the dogs. I am unsure what else you could have done better with them in a cottage garden, really.
Again, I am sorry you were disappointed but we did warn you we were only just finishing the house and everything we advertised is here plus fantastic views, great walks & a warm & friendly welcome, for you and your pets.
