“A Wonderfull Place to Stay” It is fair to say that I am no stranger to Holiday Lets in North Yorkshire and the Whitby area in particular and to date I havent uncovered a bad one! The Corner House , however, raises the bar to a new level ! Cosy,compact and exceptionally well specified ,this little Jewel of a cottage has been tastefully restored whilst still retaining character and occupies a superb location in the heart of the town with all local ameneties just a flat walk away.The Corner House is ideal for both familes or older visitors - Whitby is fart from flat - but its location is such that acess to the town,to the beaches and all shopping and recreational venues is easy made with no hills to slow the progress.Even parking the car did not present any problems with either on-street parking or off - road council operated parking being readily available - and this was on a Bank Holiday ! And despite the hustle and bustle of a busy seaside town The Corner House is remarkably quiet within, making for a most relaxing expierience. All in all we had a most wonderfull stay at the Corner House and are eagerly anticipating a return visit at the earliest convenience.

“Great location, very high standard accommodation” A group of six old university friends stayed here for a long weekend for our annual get together. This was an ideal property with plenty of room, good sized bedrooms, nicely decorated and furnished and well appointed with all the facilities we could wish for. Fitted our bill perfectly - a room each, two good sized comfortable living rooms and kitchen for socialising, a nice outside area also to sit and eat, private parking and easy walking access in minutes to all the amenities of Whitby. This property would easily accommodate larger groups in comfort too - either a bigger group of friends of maybe two families holidaying together. Immaculately clean and the owner very easy and straight to deal with. Very nice base for a seaside holiday break in the lovely North Yorkshire moors.

“Excellent apartment” Apartment close to town centre a bit of a hill to climb okay going down a bit of a struggle for us 4 oldies getting up so we got a taxi 5pound the apartment was excellent plenty of room for the four of us made better by having 2bathrooms comfy beds and the quietness made for a good nights sleep very good weather which was a bonus all in all we agreed it was a great break in a excellent apartment just like to thank Richard who always answered any questions we put to him hope to return

“Great stay again” We found this beauty last year, and booked this years holiday before we left last year. Again the stay is brilliant. All the resources you could want and more, private garden for the dog. The view of pannet gardens is so relaxing (even when doing a bit of online work) A 5 minute walk into town, private parking, what more can you ask for... The owner is very helpful and answers messages quickly. We have already booked for stay no 3 next year.

“The perfect retreat” The cottage was near to all amenities yet tucked away with a lovely secluded area for BBQs outside. It was minutes away from the harbour, restuarants, shops and leisure centre. The cottage itself was top class, the owner thought of everything, Coffee machine, condiments, cling film all the little things you might forget and the log burning stove was great and the girls loved that. We have a one at home but the owner provided fuel logs which I had not used before and they were so easy and clean. There was only one down side, there was minimal parking next to the cottage but the owner gave us great instructions for parking a short walk away.
