Glad you had a good time Vanessa. We thought about internet at one point but then decided that part of the enjoyment of the place is the fact it's fairly cut-off from the (hectic) modern world. By cistern I guess you mean the boiler or water supply? Just after you stayed there Catherine and I and two of our friends stayed there and noticed the shower cutting out halfway through someone's shower. I got a plumber in and he discovered there was a problem with the shower's circuitry which kept tripping the shower off. So we've had a completely new shower installed which now works perfectly. If you did mean cistern, I think the fact we're on a chemical septic tank system means the cistern is sometimes slow to fill up. Sorry if this was a problem. Hope all's good with you anyway....and come back soon. Gordon & Catherine
