“Excellent stay at Villa anka” We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa anka. The location was perfect, in a quiet residental area but only 2-3 blocks from the harbor where the restaurants, shops, water taxi and bus station were located. Our unit was clean and comfortable, plus it had a washing machine so we could do our laundry, which, after traveling for two weeks was really needed and very appreciated. The best part of our stay at Villa anka was the hospitality of the Urlovic family, they did so much to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Since we did not understand the directions on the washing machine,Anka helped us get our laundry started, Stijepo woke us early one morning so we wouldn't miss our bus tour and Mr Urlovic let us sample their smoked figs and homemade brandy (both were very good). If we are fortunate to travel to Croatia again in the future, we would definately stay at Villa anka and will recommend it to any of our family or friends who may travel there. “Everything we needed for an enjoyable holiday” Apartment Tiha is in an enviable position overlooking the sea and within walking distance of the old town. It has everything that you need in terms of equipment (although my 19 year old daughter and I missed a bedroom mirror) as well as being conveniently located for the very good restaurants that Cavtat have to offer. The booking of the holiday, and our subsequent visit was made so much easier by the help of Mihaela who offers a pick up and return service to the airport. As we had chosen to stay overnight in Dubrovnik first, Mihaela told us the local bus to catch to get to Cavtat which we found cheap and better than a taxi because we were able to take advantage of the stunning views over the bay as we climbed out of Dubrovnik. We would love to go back here again soon.

“View to dye for and lovely apartment” From the initial contact when booking the apartment with Marina she could not have been more helpful. She arranged for Ivo (her husband)to meet us at the airport and take us to the apartment which is only 8 or 10 minutes from the airport, a big plus for me even more so when going home this time Marina took us.The apartment was nicely presented, very clean and well decorated but the big wow of Apartments Dupcic has got to be the view. We sat on the terrace most evenings watching the sun go down over Dubrovnic sharing a bottle of Plavac. If anybody has told you Croatian wines are not very good then they are wrong. The apartments have a comfortable settee, flat screen TV and Air Conditioning which worked brilliantly keeping us cool in the bedroom to enjoy a excellent nights sleep in the large comfortable bed. The bathroom is a little bit small but has everything you need with plenty of hot water and a good shower. To get a view like the apartments have, you have to be up a hill and Cavtat is built on hills. It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach and probably another 5 into the main town. We quite enjoyed the walk home apart from the last 200 metres which I found hard work having a bad knee but my wife was fine with it. Well worth the walk for the view and of course there are taxi's. During our stay Marina popped in to make sure everything was to our liking and also with handy tips on where to go and when to go into Dubrovnik. Ivo has a taxi in Dubrovnik and knows when the cruise ships are in or not, best to go when they are not there not so busy. I am trying to think of any negatives as I always try to be objective but really apart from the last 200 metre climb up the hill I cannot think of any. A great host, wonderful view, lovely apartment and the beautiful little town of Cavtat a real gem. It was our second visit to Cavtat and a joy to be there again. If you are looking for noisy night life, English breakfasts and the Rose & Crown this is not the place for you. Relaxed, Chilled and just beautiful.Hire a little boat sail over to Supertar, have a ride around the bay watching the Super yachts or go into the next bay where the local fishermen people keep their boats. The sea is crystal clear and great for a swim or just find a rock to sunbathe on. For me the place is stunning. Room Tip: I believe all apartments have the same view
