“Wonderful” My boyfriend and I stood at the bungalow for 3 days and had a blast. Ella was very sweet and detailed with all the basic info about the cabin. We arrived from the detailed directions she gave us and weren't disappointed. This bungalow was very comfortable, and inviting. My boyfriend and I had some doubts considering my boyfriend is 6'1 and the bungalow looked really small, but he fit in comfortably! I also recommend going through all the pamphlets of activity a Ella has they give you a great idea of what you can do in the area! Thanks for the great stay Ella, my boyfriend sand I will be back!

“Hunter Mountain House” Myself and 7 of my friends stayed at Camille's Hunter Mountain House for a weekend this past summer, and I am happy to say that we had an excellent time. We booked this place last minute, and Camille was easy to get in touch with and easy to work with. She was happy to answer questions about the surrounding area and was quick to provide recommendations on things to do in the area. The house itself is beautiful. It was clean, well equipped, and large enough to easily sleep the 8 of us. The location of the house is its best asset - its situated on a beautiful piece of land with gorgeous views overlooking the Hunter mountains. There is a large porch on the back of the house complete with seating, tables, and gas grill. From the porch you can walk off into the trees and we had some fun hiking around. We actually spent the majority of our time on the porch and exploring the surrounding land. A few minutes away there is a lake we went swimming in as well. We had a great time at this house and we plan on returning. Perhaps during the winter this time for some skiing/snowboarding (which is only 5 minutes away). We recommend checking this place out!

“Peaceful and quite - shhh don't tell anyone please!” Back in august, I needed to get away from the City for a weekend badly. I wanted a nice place near water. Long Island came to mind. My spouse did a little internet research and came up with something in a different direction, Tumblin Falls in upstate New York. Once you turn off the main road you are in a different world. Trees all around. The roar of the waterfall. The stream. All adjacent to your B & B. It immediately felt like my home away from home. No doubt this was the result of meeting hosts Hugh and Linda Curry. They are warm, welcoming and gracious and will do whatever they can to make your visit wonderful. Our room overlooked the falls. Nothing was more delightful than hearing those falls through the night. I delighted in sitting on the porch during the day surrounded by nature and nature's beauty. The hummingbirds came by to sip at the porch feeder. Chipmunks scampered through the foliage. A Blue heron swooped in to land at the falls. The mornings started out with a delightful brunch style breakfast on the porch: scrambled eggs with basil, pancakes, elderberry syrup, turkey sausage, OJ, coffee etc. Lots of etc. We took our bikes with us and biked around the area. We visited some really nice wineries in the area as well as the town of Catskill. Leave your City "attitude" at home or you will not have a good time. Just throttle back to "idle". This is not the Hilton, folks, this is a B & B in the northern Catskills but everything is neat, clean, and tidy. This isn't a happening scene. For excitement you can take a dip in the crystal clear, cold pool at the falls. Or visit the hot tub on the deck in the evening. Or sit by the fire and watch the stars. Or hike. Or do all the other things you an't do in the City. Our first visit was followed by two more in the next two months. And each time was better than the one before. We now call Tumblin Falls our Hudson Valley weekend home, without the maintenance headaches or the mortgage!
