“such a relaxing experience helped by the generosity of Guiseppe'” Fortunately the 2 of us had good weather, all important in properties with hot climates. The comfortable villa was sited way up a mountain/very large hill! which meant a car was essential + there is no way to walk down to Scopello. The huge outside space had lots of equipment and was excellent for eating out/barbeques/sunbathing. The panoramic view was absolutely glorious and overlooked 180 degree view of the gulf. Guiseppe the owner is a lovely man. On arrival we followed him in his car and he gave us a brief tour so we could orientate ourselves and once in the villa he explained all the amenities and foibles of his house. He also brought large quantities of tasty cooked food + delicious cakes which lasted us for 3 main meals.

“A lovely place to stay” This property has wonderful views of the sea. It is very clean and well equipped, and has a garden that is safe for young children. It's just a few minutes drive from a beautiful cove and easy walking distance from a good pizza restaurant, and there are more restaurants further down the road in Scopello. Do hire yourself a small car though, as the winding driveway was very hard to navigate in an estate car! We were met by the owner, Giuseppina - a really lovely lady who speaks very good English and made us feel very welcome.

We stayed at Lemon&Orange for a short stay in Castellammare and wished we had more time to spend there! The flats are new, comfortable and spotless, equipped with all you could need and furnished with exquisite attention to details. A modern design throughout and yet a traditional Sicilian vibe thanks to the bright colours and central location - plus, the upper flats benefit from a wonderful view over the city and the sea. The owner, Adriana, is very friendly and helpful; she also suggested us a quirky restaurant to have dinner at, which was a brilliant recommendation. Perfect stay in great location

We stayed in Villa Spiaggia Playa for one week in June with 3 our kids (age 7,4,2). It was perfect relaxing place with beautiful view and wonderful garden where we felt our kids to be safe. The beach is just across the street. In the villa you can find everything you need and what is most important- the host Anna Maria was so kind and helpful. Fantastic house, marvellous views, great location!!

We stayed here in early September and had a wonderful time. The house is situated by the old castle overlooking the harbour. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and watching the boats coming and going and the fishermen selling their fish. The house is very well equipped it has everything you need to cook you own meals if you choose, it even has beach towels and beach umbrellas. Marco was fantastic, he met us in his car at a predetermined spot and we followed him to the house - the roads in the town are quite narrow! We were overwhelmed by his kindness and generosity - he had provided an extensive welcome pack of croissants, biscuits, wine, bread, butter, jam etc.as well as homemade olive oil and lemoncello. Marco's mother had made us the most delicious cake and amazing vegetarian pasta bake. Marco was very informative and told us the best restaurants and sites to visit. We would thoroughly recommend this house to anyone looking for a taste of the real Sicily! … see more
