“Above our expectations!” You can't find a better appartment in Reykjavik. Location, clean, spacious, quiet, lot of towels, near the BSI bus terminal and from the City Center. We enjoy our one week stay there. I'm glad I have found this place. Thank you Ragnar! : )

“Fantastic” Svienn and Stella are great very helpfull and friendly, location is perfect, literally 2 minutes walk from all shops, bars and Harbour but amazingly quiet. Cozy apartments is just what you need from self catering although a grill/microwave would be helpfull for a quiet night in, cannot beat the amazing price, we were on our honeymoon so this helped alot will definatly be back.

Great property for families

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and a 5 year old and 15 month old) and this place was perfect. It has a nice central location and can reach everything within a 5-10 min walk. Due to dietary restrictions, we cooked all our meals here and everything needed to make standard dishes was provided (and even a microwave, surprisingly!). The grocery store is only a 4 min walk away. The crib worked great for the baby. The apartment was very clean, fresh linens, and well arranged (although my husband hit his leg more than once on the edge of the bed due to some chairs in the room). The whole apartment was quiet - we never heard neighbours and only occasional planes landing/taking off outside. The only issue someone may have is there is a flight of stairs to reach the apartment - but this was not an issue for us. In summary, the location is perfect to get to anything you need, great for families who are homebodies, and the owner was very responsive to communication. If we are in Iceland again, we would not hesitate to stay here again. … see more

Brekka is a beautiful, comfortable, well equipped cottage set in a gorgeous location with amazing views that you never tire of! Great place to stay

This is a really spacious,well equipped, clean and comfortable property is a great location. Having a car was a real bonus and allowed us to travel out to the sights of the golden circle. its also accessible by bus which takes less than 10 minutes to get into Reykjavik or about 30 minutes to walk. The owner, Siggi was really friendly and helpful and made sure we were OK, he was kind enough to drop us off so we could pick up the hire car we were using to travel to our next destination. Peaceful Downtown Apartment-Free WiFi and Parking
Good location

Good location right on the main Laugavegur street of Reykjavík. Easy check-in, good access to the7th floor via lift and convenient parking in the garage. The flat had everything we needed (perhaps except a dishwasher which now should be a standard I think). There is a big TV set with Netflix etc. (if you came to Iceland to watch TV heh) which some people may find useful. I must admit there was a night or two when we watched Netflix which is provided so you don’t need a subscription. The only criticism is that the general cleanness of the place wasn’t 100%. The bathroom, especially the shower could be cleaner (booked through a service where quite a substantial cleaning fee is charged). The floors and a rug was not properly vacuumed. Some furniture were broken (coffee table leg + sofa front fascia). The kitchen area also wasn’t the cleanest (maybe we have high standards though). There were additional bedding available but we couldn’t find linen anywhere to really use it. Overall, it’s a good place, a bit dated but functional. I would however recommend it to family and friends. A greater attention to detail is needed from the owner to make this place really a 5-star accommodation. … see more
