“Beautiful and Idyllic Getaway” This villa is beautifully furnished, has a wonderful layout, with the pool and a Bali Bale (Gazebo) as it's centrepiece. The pool is wonderful, a good size and very clean, and the gardens are full of colour - both are very well maintained. The bedrooms are all very nice, 2 king size doubles and 1 twin, all with beautiful en-suite shower-rooms - I wish I could produce the same effect at home ! The villa is excellently looked after and very clean. The daily help is very effecient, friendly and helpful. There are some lovely Bali paintings and stone carvings scattered around, with a teal and white colour scheme throughout, which gives a great ambience and feel of Bali. There is a deli around the corner, and a number of small restaurants are opening up in the area - all within walking distance, which makes life easy for self catering or dining out. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk away, down a quiet lane, and the nightlife in Seminyak only 10 minute drive away. Local massages are a 'must' and can be done in the luxury of your room. Local tour guides or car hire available. Both can be arranged from the villa, and would recomment a trip to Ubud and into the hills to see all the rice paddy field - try and catch a local festival and temple gathering, see a traditional Bali dance troop - all must sees when in Bali. The owner of this villa is most helpful, quick to answer and very effecient, as is her local representative in Bali. I would highly recommend this villa to all who like smart, comfortable, beautiful and relaxing places to stay and plan to return again soon. Many thanks to one and all at Villa Samsara
