“Good stay! Poor after service.” Great house, modern facilities, comfortable beds, well presented, has everything you need and great location near beach. However, it took 3 months and several emails after stay before breakage deposit was returned.

“5* accommodation” Very enjoyable stay at Campbell’s cottage. Philip was very accommodating. The cottage was beautiful & spotlessly clean. Loved the colourful exterior & seaside theme. 5-10 minutes walk to the gorgeous beach & Portballintrae centre. The perfect base for exploring the North coast. Highly recommend & look forward to staying again.

“Excellent holiday home” We were a party of 2 adults and 2 teenage boys staying for one week. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which suited our needs perfectly. First thing we noticed was how spotlessly clean it was. I stay in hotels a lot for work and this house had a higher standard of cleanliness than most of them. Everything you could possibly want is provided, from kitchen utensils to washing machine detergent to firelighters and kindling. It is not just kitted out as a minimum standard holiday home but has extra touches like candles and even a dvd selection which make it seem more like a home away from home. The house is in a pastoral setting(the behaviour of the neighbouring cattle was a constant source of diversion) and is very safe for small children as its in off the road. There is a lovely woodland walk right beside the house and the surrounding area is very popular with cyclists. If the house could be relocated beside the sea I would give it 10 stars! Susan is a very nice person and easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

“Great wee cottage in a great location - highly recommend” Spent a fantastic week at croft cottage. Maurice was fantastic and nothing was too much hassle. Made to feel right at home the moment we arrived. Great location for exploring the north coast. The house was warm, comfortable and cosy. Welcome pack supplied was a nice personal touch with delicious home made wheaten bread. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back for a second visit.
