“Absolutely fabulous” Sadly we had bad weather (you could always watch the Peter Kay CD,,,, hilarious if you have the same) Excellent all round amenities, great view, Horrific Hills, especially with shopping, lovely green out in front,,, this is where you get all the local gen from. As I said,, absolutely Fabulous!!!

“View to die for” We had a fantastic stay at Sunberry cottage. Communication with Katy was excellent and prompt. The cottage has all you could possibly need with the most amazing views over the harbour and bay from the large terrace. The cottage is high on the hill and the walk back up is challenging but we either took is slow or used a local taxi for a few quid. Would definately recommend Sunberry Cottage for a very comfortable and clean break away in lovely Brixham. Thank you for a lovely break x

“Great Location” Our first visit to Brixham and not our last. Trade Winds Cottage is comfortable and has everything you need as a home from home. Main bedroom is lovely with a really comfortable king sized bed. Both me and my husband suffer with back issues so always a concern when we travel. Situated over four floors, the stairs can be challenging as quite steep but as expected in a property of this age. Cottage has been renovated sympathetically to maintain character whilst providing comfort and a quirky style. The location is perfect, with wonderful views and two minutes walk from the harbour. Fresh milk, tea and coffee plus fresh scones, jam and clotted cream welcomed us on arrival. Thanks Jo! Brixham itself was lovely, some great walking to be had. We walked to Berry Head which has amazing views across Lyme Bay. The Covid situation was handled well by all restaurants and shops but recommend you book in advance if you want to eat somewhere particular as they are often fully booked for up to 5 days. We were very lucky with the weather and spent a couple of afternoons on the beach and swimming at Shoalstone beach. We didn’t have time to do everything we wanted to so will be back and our accommodation of choice will definitely be Trade Winds. All in all a great few days away. Highly recommend Trade Winds Cottage and a visit to Brixham itself.

“What a great find!!” WOW!! What a wonderful location and place. The views are to die for. Rumours have it royalty has stayed here and that would not surprise me!! We, 10 of us and 2 dogs, stayed here for a weekend (6 - 9th October) and could have easily have stayed longer. The house is beautifully presented and any issues or problems are sorted very quickly. We had a toilet that would not flush; one phone call and Malcolm was there and it was fixed within 30 mins of reporting it. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The open plan works well to the dinning area. The lounge too is spacious and ideal for groups. The TV has Sky which was a bonus. However, if I was being picky, I would say it would easily take a much bigger screen. Bedrooms are great and open onto the gardens....brilliant. Parking; Plenty of parking. I took my motorbike and even had a small covered area for it....ideal. The achilles heal of the place are the showers. They work well (hot and good pressure) but are the type that are above the bath, not separate cubicles. They have circular curtains which really are not good. Would I recommend the place.....definitely Would I go there again.....I hope so, maybe in the summer.
