This large, sprawling region in north western France is home to many stunning and exciting cities, not to mention smaller towns and interesting islands just off the coast. Book your next holiday rental in Brittany and explore one of the most popular destinations in France, and all that this huge region has to offer.
This beautiful and scenic region spans a large area. With a lot on offer between the numerous cities and towns, including bustling regional capital city Rennes, there's plenty to entertain the entire family, across all the generations, whilst getting a little flavour of the French culture.
A largely coastal region, there's no shortage of beautiful beaches or breathtaking coastal scenery. And with a number of small islands and outcrops, there are plenty of new and exciting places to explore.
What to do
The walled city of St Malo is equal parts historic and picturesque, so it's well worth a stroll around.
You can't visit France without trying crepes, and they happen to be a regional speciality here, so it's an absolute must.

Good appartment near the beach
The location of the appartment is excellent - near a very nice and long beach and promenade. The owner is very friendly. No problems with parking. Only a dishwasher in the kitchen would be good .

A superb apartment in a lovely position for accessibility to Audierne.
The apartment is very well equipped and clean , with all one could want, including an extensive collection of books and DVD's.
Very detailed instructions from the owner helped with practical issues such as equipment usage and utility issues, water, electricity and generally how things worked!
Obviously a well loved and cared for apartment.

Beautiful and well equipt cottage in quiet location overlooking the River Vilaine
The cottage is in a rural location, perfect for walks and fresh air. It is close to Beganne - you can walk - where you can go for your early morning baguette. There are some lovely quiet beaches at Damgan and Ambon. Go to Vannes for some shops and lively restaurants or have coffee by the marina. The cottage is quiet and peaceful with lovely views of the river in the valley. We heard owls at night and saw a deer. Inside it is modern, with light bedrooms and comfortable furniture. …

Comfortable, tranquil and within easy reach of so many places
We had a thoroughly relaxing 10 days in August in this spacious, clean and well-equipped restored farmhouse. The kitchen had everything you would need, and the second fridge came in particularly useful. The bedrooms were attractive and comfortable. It was pleasant to sit in the evening in the sunny garden. The village of Dolo is a short walk away, and for the braver, there is a nearby wake-boarding lake – but we weren’t that adventurous. We enjoyed the water sports at Jugon-les-Lacs and also the range of small shops, including a charity shop (good selection of both English and French books). The house is in easy reach of Dinan, where the restaurant La Fleur du Sel was excellent, good value, and just off the large market. The owners provided lots of information about places to visit, which encouraged us to explore the wide sandy beaches and attractive coastline. We’d happily go again. …
