“Lovely peaceful country gite” Stayed here for 3 nights whilst taking part in the Tour de Rance Vintage cycling event. Kate and Marc very welcoming, gite just what we needed, everything there that we required and clean, would love to go back, maybe for next years event!

“Tarranga a great home to rent” A beautiful old gite in a remote area, it is an old barn which has been renovated. It has everything you would expect from a holiday home. The owners Yandeh and Kurt are kind and helpful, only really dealt with Yandeh, but she is a really nice girl

“Fantastic "gite", location, holiday & hosts, can't wait to return” We have just returned from our first trip to France with the kids, we had a fab time and was largely due to the holiday accomodation, hosts and facilities. We stayed in Primrose Gite with my wife and two children aged 10 and 8. Having 3 bedrooms was a bonus and the open plan living space, although fairly small was big enough and complemented by the large barn with tables, chairs, table tennis and other games. Also your own patio table and chairs right outside your property where we ate every meal. Highlight for our kids has to be the barn and swimming pool. The pool was open from 10-7 every day, and was plenty big enough. The Gite is in the middle of the countryside and everywhere is a car or bike journey, but that said, all you needed was within 5-10minutes drive. The nearby lake (approx 15minutes drive) was great, really safe and plenty to do. The local town and markets were good and everyone welcomed you. Overall an excellent holiday and we'll be back again to explore the area some more.

“A hideaway in rural Brittany, France” We stayed at Les Gites de La Touche-Chanvril for 8 nights in June and it was truly a home away from home with all the facilities we needed after travelling in France for three weeks. It was great to unpack and do all our laundry. The facilities are new and very good. We had thought that we would just laze around and do nothing for the week, but in fact, as we had a car we took the opportunity to visit Mont St Michel which is only a short distance away, Saint Malo, Dinan, all very near. We loved being able to walk 10 minutes down the road to the village of Pleudian for supplies; 10 minutes in the other direction is another lovely settlement with a beach and restaurant. The property is in a rural setting and is very quiet and peaceful. Kate was very helpful and provided advice and maps for our travels beyond the gate. Kate lives on site and speaks English as her first language, so she was most helpful to us non-French speakers.
