“Bournemouth” Clear instructions how how to find it. Lovely apartment. Clean and plenty of room for what ee required. Close to all amenities. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Only slight downside we're the neighbours who were very active in the early hours!
“Wonderful view. Great location” The apartment was very clean and tidy. The owner Brian was there to meet us upon arrival. Very nice chap. Location was great just across the road from a lovely quiet beach and only a short drive into Bournemouth itself. Despite storm Aileen we still had a great week. Already planning our next holiday here.
“Great town centre apartment” The apartment is right in the heart of Bournemouth but as its at the rear of the building it's surprisingly quite and peaceful., there was no noise at night and we slept really well in the comfy large bed. It has a balcony that over looks the central gardens. It has all the facilities you need for your holiday including sky tv, there's also a freeview tv in the bedroom. The owner was extremely helpful including picking us up from the rail station and showing us round and explaining everything. The seafront and pier are only 5 minutes walk. If you don't have a car the local buses go from just round the corner (we got a £15 7 day network pass for the yellow buses from their office) If you want to stay close to all the shops, pubs and eateries just book this apartment!
“Ticked all the boxes!” Group of 4 friends stayed at the apartment (16-18-NOV-2012)
The original check-in/check-out times were not to our liking(16:00/10:00), but the lady looking after the place (amanda) was very flexible with us as no one was staying at the apartment, either side of us. We met her at 15:00 on the friday (paid the deposit) & left at 14:30 on the sunday. I am someone who always asks for a later check-out as after a late night (got home after a night out in bournemouth at 03:00),the thought of having to leave by 10:00 would not be ideal & change the enjoyment of the whole weekend!
The apartment was nice & warm & the heating was very simple to control via the room thermostat.
We had a couple of take-aways which worked out really well. There were take-away menus in the info book, which is always a big help when away from home. There were plenty of plates/glasses/cutley etc, also having a fridge/dishwasher always comes in handy.
Two minor things i mentioned to amanda were there was no hand soap & only a half roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, on our arrival. We did find 2 toilet rolls in the cupboard by the front door, but amanda did apologise for this oversight!
Our £100 deposit was returned with no problems as we left the apartment as we found it although i did break a wine glass when unloading the dishwasher, which i informed amanda about but her attitude regarding this was the same as throughtout our stay, excellent!
Finally, would i stay here again if i was visiting Bournemouth?....YES
“Perfect stay with young children.” We had a fantastic week at Sandbourne house, the facilities were fantastic and the children loved all the toys and games, which we made good use of as the weather was very "British " that week. The location was perfect, just a short stroll to the beach and pirate playground, we ate at Vesuvios restaurant on the beach which was also brilliant although would definitely recommend booking, especially on the weekend. Very helpful information, and leaflets of the surrounding areas activities and days out, which was lucky as we were (shamefully) lost without WiFi. Can strongly suggest that you don't lock yourself out of the apartment, although even this was dealt with without any real problems.
“Fantastic - home from home - great for groups” We stayed here with a group of friends over the bank holiday - the booking process was very simple and Susan was really helpful and provided great information.
House is lovely - spacious, plenty of beds and modern furnishings.
We had an issue with the hot water which we couldnt work out how to turn on - Susans daughter came immediately round to assit which was appreciated
Would fully recommend this property and we are hoping to return soon
“Great New Year stay at this wonderful apartment!” This apartment has it all - it is ideally located in a fabulous Victorian building a mere five minutes walk from the seafront and Boscombe Pier. The flat has an excellent kitchen equipped with all the utensils one could need. The lounge area is comfortable and spacious, and the TV comes equipped with cable and a large selection of DVDs for days when the weather doesn't co-operate. The flat was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The surrounding area has a large selection of cafes and restaurants, and there are shops within walking distance. Would highly recommend, and will stay again!
“Extremely comfortable and well equipped” Central location, close to seafront and town. The apartment is spacious, clean, and equipped and furnished to a very high standard with lots of thoughtful extras like wi-fi, DVDs, books, games. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.
“Great Holiday” Stayed with my 2 children for a week. Had a lovely welcome from Pam
who was most helpful. The apartment was very clean, lots of space and had everything we needed including a lovely big garden. They are in a good location with nearby shops/restaurants
and takeaways. The beach and town centre are within walking distance.
There is lots for the children to do and a week wasn't long enough!
Would definitely go back and recommend to my family and friends.
