“Charming cosy, well equipped Lodge on well kept holiday park” Had a lovely stay with our 3 young children in Feb 2019. Easy booking and correspondence with Richard, lovely lodge, very clean and equipped in a fantastic location. The River Tilt Holiday Park it is on is very well kept and spotless. Lovely walks close by along the river, station just a few minutes away as is Blair Castle (closed at the time we went as it was out of season, as was most indoor attractions). Pitlochry is only a few minutes drive away and has some pleasant cafe's etc. Thoroughly recommend the drive to some of the nearby Loch's. Stunning scenery. House of Bruar is an interesting store about 10 minute drive away, has a fish & chip shop also if you don't fancy cooking one night. We very much hope to visit Scotland again and Pine Marten Lodge will be our first choice of accommodation.
“Everything we hoped it would be and more” It's always a bit of a worry visiting a holiday property for the first time. Will it be as good as it looks on the website? Will it be clean? Will it be peaceful? I needn't have worried - what a wonderful lodge. Well designed accommodation complete with gadgets and quality fittings throughout - and not forgetting WIFI - much to the relief of our teenage daughter.
The site itself is very peaceful and tidy and is situated on the south bank of the River Tilt. Blair Castle & Gardens is a 10 minute walk away with Killiecrankie visitor centre and Pitlochry a few miles to the south. There are also plenty of outdoor walking and cycling routes in the area to keep the more energetic happy too.
“No complaints! Lovely cottage.” Our second stay in Old Mill Cottage which I think says everything, Location couldn’t be better, so much close to hand. All facilities provided and spotlessly clean. Garden is a plus and again we were lucky with the weather so appreciated being able take advantage, Thank you Chris.
“Relaxing and cosy” Booked Primrose lodge for a long weekend away with the mother to let our hair down, relax, and this is exactly what we got. We love the heat so a fireplace was an essential for us and boy was it fantastic. Combined with the comfiest sofa ever, we were in heaven. I couldn’t fault a single thing, attention to detail was clear with the provision of dressing gowns, slippers, good range of films, warm duvet covers and most importantly cleanliness. If you are wanting some time to relax and wind down look no further. We will definitely be back.
