“Perfect location and setting!” Perfect home-base for a visit to acadia National Park. Close enough to be convenient but far enough from the bustle of Bar Harbor to be peaceful and restful. The setting was majestic enough to match the bald eagle we saw flying over the lawn and peaceful enough to match the hummingbird we saw sipping from the geraniums on the porch. We loved our morning coffee by the water watching the tide come in, and we grilled almost every evening, sitting outside to enjoy the amazing sunsets. We spent most of our days in acadia hiking, biking, and kayaking and were glad to come "home" to such a lovely setting at the end of each day. The cottage itself was just perfect for two and had everything we needed to make our week on Mount Desert Island exactly what we'd hoped.
