La Cheneviere
Wonderful haven in the countryside

We stayed here with friends and family, for a week in the school holidays. Judy was a responsive host and the house was wonderfully clean (with all linen and towels provided). The house is equipped with everything you could wish for, and the rooms are all clean and comfortable. There's a treasure trove of toys and games, which kept the children busy for days - meaning us adults could sit outside (or in the covered area when cloudy) and soak in the amazing views. A fantastic rental, where the owner really has thought of everything- we loved the visit from the Boulanger, who dropped off fresh french stick every morning for us! You don't really need to venture from the house, but we found plenty to entertain us in the immediate area too. Flavigny is a delight, as is Semur. And the local abbey (only a few minutes down the road) is breathtaking. We didn't have time to explore much of the wine region though- we will be returning!see more
