“AMAZING!!” Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a few days in October and it was absolutely amazing! The location was the absolute best! Right on the beach and the people in Placencia are the nicest people you will meet! We needed a place short notice and Kay was very quick in replying to our request for a reservation! I wish we could have met Kay while were staying there, but Carolyn took great care of us! We cannot wait to get back here for another vacation and one day permanently! We fell in love with this small and homey village and home to call it home one day! Thank you Kay for having a wonderful piece of property and for letting us stay! I've already started recommending your place to friends and family to check out!

“Perfect location, great house for the money.” We were very happy with our stay at Hillview House. Coming from the States the standards in San Ignacio are not the same so don't expect a 5 star resort, comfy here and it was a great resting spot after a day of adventuring. This home was high end for the area and in a nice neighborhood with great security. We rented a car so getting to the location was simple and Blanca the house keeper met us and was very nice. The pool was nice to cool off in (note there is only air conditioning in 2 bedrooms which for the area is a luxury.) It was close to everything, very convenient. The beds were comfortable and the house had all the basic necessities. If you are looking for a high end top of the line home with all the bells and whistles, this probably isn't the home for you, but if your want an affordable safe comfortable house with a pool, this place is perfect. A full size washer an dryer and included and we used them alot, rhat was wonderful. Also they recently added 2 more beds which made a total of 5 so our kids did not have to share, this was a nice surpise. If we visit San Ignacio again we will definitely stay here. “Heaven” There just aren't enough adjectives to do this review justice. This is a once in a lifetime lovely, relaxing, fun and pleasant place to vacation. Peter and the staff took care of every request starting from the moment of booking this vacation. We were able to provide information about our likes/dislikes as it pertains to comfort, food, drink, privacy or not, activities we like to do, etc before we arrived. Peter also helped us plan our time on both ends of the trip on the island so we could enjoy the Belize mainland. I would recommend doing the same and not missing any moments you have to spend on the island. Take an excursions on the mainland before and/or after your booking dates for the island. Peter and the staff accommodated every request we had even if it meant going to the mainland to bring something in to meet the request. The other reviews about The Royal Belize are exactly what we experienced too. The up-to-date technology is wonderful. You use connected ipads/itouches for music, communication to the staff and entertainment in every home and the main Palapa. We were even able to connect our ipads to the sound system and we played (with the other couple we came with) name that song/artist. It was great fun. You will not be let down when you travel to this destination spot I like to call Heaven. Thank you to Peter and staff for bringing a part of Heaven into our lives.
