Casa Terracotta, Cosy Self-Catering Holiday Home
Peace, tranquility, quality - the REAL Italian experience

I would Strongly recommend even just a short stay at Casa Terracotta. From the accommodation to the friendliness of hosts Suzanne and Pietro. Their local knowledge, experience and language, to the beauty of the village and surrounding countryside this is a MUST STOP. To truly switch off and feel whole again there is nowhere better to bring you back together. Local food choices are terrific and world wide known names but who knew they all came from this one small area of Italy. Parma ham from Parma; Modena balsamic from Modena; Massanti water from Massanti (where you stay); Parmesan Regianno - the real deal; fungi to eat your heart out; Bolognaise from Bologna - shall I go on? The list is endless. It's ALL right under your nose. Doesn't cost a fortune, which it should. What an under rated part of the world. I would recommend this establishment for a seriously good Italian experience. Tuscany may be good but for true experience Emilia Romagna tops it every time. Try it - you will be So pleasantly surprised.see more
